Summer task of a new animation idea designed in a poster format.

Called fracture of the putrid (a break in the evil) 

Four teenagers have a big success as a famous rock band in the city of Rocktopia, however they hold a dark secret as by night they are a band of superheroes collaborating their powers of fire,water,earth and electricity to beat crime and stop it in their tracks. 

The four gained their powers while playing a charity event at a science lab held by one of the characters high profiling fathers who works for the science company, radiation breaks out through the concert and the four are consumed by the radiation taking on genetic mutations i.e. their powers 

As time progress the drummer (who's father works at the science lab) discovers that his father isn't as forthcoming about his job as he makes out and is tied up with handlings, bribes and criminal activity, the son sees this as a big business opportunity and decides to leave the band for his own benefit-he decides that he doesn't want the band to know of the path he has taken so fakes his death

He achieves this by falling off a pier at another gig with his drumsticks still hand, the rest of the group is left distraught and break up the band thus their secret lives are revealed. 

Although crime is now more rampant than ever and a cry for help is established, the three, after much persuasion go seeking out the master criminal

Visitors will be invited to interact with and contribute to the development of the exhibits. Network focuses on works that comment on and utilise the digital traces left behind by everyday communications and looks at how advanced technologies and the internet have enabled new types of social interaction and mediums of self-expression."

After looking into the V&A Decode, it's given me a few more ideas of how me and Julia can put together our illustrated animation. As part of using our own unique photos of the things we like e.g mine are landscapes, places, 'selfies', friends etc. They can be used to express our personal traces to show the places we've been and what we love/hate and hope to do/see in the future within 10 years time.
