Except Bill is a fucking hypocrite, because he’s got multiple tapes and magazines of hentai stashed down in his mom’s basement.

He’s a nerd who feels the need to justify everything he likes that might be seen as “normie shit”, so get him going on the “artistic integrity” of the very explicit scenes he watches.
If you match his freak maybe watch one with him.
Over time, he gets more tolerant of it and even enjoys some of it. You branch out from X-rated stuff and show him classics like Dragonball Z.
Late at night, when you two are curled up watching Attack On Titan (one of the few things in the genre he’ll watch with you, because he likes all the gore) he’ll let it slip that he maybe kinda sorta looks forward to the nights when you watch anime together.
He immediately backs it up with all the reasons it’s “okay” for him to like it.
Just let him. It’s his defense mechanism.
If you go to anime-specific cons, bro will NOT dress up. He’ll drool over the cosplayers. Weirdo shit.
If I had to pick a favorite for him, I think he would like Attack On Titan. He’d hate that its mainstream but AOT is really gory and angsty and I think he’d like that.
He would also like Dragonball Z because of the power levels and it’s legendary status in the anime world
All in all he would hate it at first, but grow to tolerate and then even reluctantly enjoy it.
Just don’t mention it to the guys.
