I love how there's this understated thing in Naruto that's buried with all the other lore, Tobirama Senju really was THAT motherfucker.. some of the most OP jutsus not tied to a specific clan? He INVENTED them lol many of them forbidden after he invented them.. Naruto uses shadow clones? He goes "oh nice you know that one? That was me" gets reanimated? "Oh shit someone must've perfected my jutsu" Minato using the flying raijin? "Oh cool so you know my teleport jutsu too? Sick" I mean Hashirama was stronger but mainly because he was just inherently powerful, could heal without hand signs, knew sage jutsu, and had a wood style kekkei genkai that was extremely rare.. Tobirama was literally a genius of ninjutsu.. and also maybe the impetus for a lot of the events in Naruto because he, fucking killed Madara's brother, setting off all that, then later probably let the Uchiha feud get way worse. Madara already left by Hashirama's time, but you think Lord First's prejudiced brother becoming leader didn't set things back a lot? I do respect though, Tobirama is the ONLY Hokage allowed to be dark and not just a goody-two-shoes.. the village went through 3 great wars where some not-so-chill shit happened, you're telling me no Hokage signed off on some fucked up missions? In 50 years of war? Then who? Hashirama wanted unity and made the damn village to stop fighting, Hiruzen apparently let Danzo sneak around and do the icky stuff, Minato apparently had the same optimism and desire for diplomacy to the extent of naivety... sooo.. But then there's Tobirama lol and he didn't give a fuck, my problematic GOAT I love toxic Lord Second and think the show glossed over his story way too quickly, with how he was, he could've BEEN a reincarnation of Indra had Madara not already been the one
