they were probably involved with pale king and his political endeavors at some point. z'emer's mantis partner is unfortunately gone, and i think isma is hospitalized in a similar situation that herrah was in. not sure what happened to hegemol? since his disappearance in hollow knight was kinda ambiguous. open to suggestions. drya is probably gone as well, i like to think white lady has a statue dedicated to her in her gardens to honor her.
