#animeboston2014 was also the first time i made a costume where I really truly knew what i was doing. i made the top half of my #daenerystargaryen costume for my pattern drafting class. the scales were all cut out by hand and then each one was stitched around the edges—i cut out and edged far more scales than i ended up using though 😅 i am still so proud of this top. it symbolizes the start of my growth from a hobby cosplayer to someone working towards something more serious. the design was original btw, and i made the egg too! thanks to Stephane Laroche for the photos!!#asongoficeandfire #gameofthrones #ab2014
