Happy belated birthday @animeftw10~ Nightwolf (Mortal Kombat) and Pike Dexter (Big Eden) gushing together about their boyfriends Samuel Black, Ani's adorable OC and Henry Hart (Big Eden). And as a reference to the good gem that is Big Eden, the background sky is covered in stars and the Pleiades constellation brought up nicely in the Big Eden movie.

Furthermore, if Erron's MK11 ending is taken into account, Wickett was founded in 1927. That's 62 years after the American Civil War ended. This means that not only is Erron's MKX ending not even semi-canon, but his backstory has truly been retconned (he has to have been born in modern times).

Knock Before Entering

Bi-Han never thought twice about going into Tomas’s room without knocking. They knew each other for as long as they can remember, and Tomas never knocked as well, so they never thought of it as a big deal. The Cryomancer entered the room, and found himself unprepared for the sight he saw.

Tomas was wearing civilian clothing. Specifically, he was putting them on, but was interrupted. The smoke user paused in his attempt to button up his top, a blush on his face. There was an awkward silence, the ice wielder unknowingly reciprocating the blush. A moment later, Bi-Han averted his gaze to his lower left.

“Sorry about that,” he broke the silence, rubbing his neck.

“Don’t worry about it,” the gray-tinged man waved it off. “What brings you here, anyways?”

“Just making sure you’re getting ready for your mission,” the black-haired man answered, still blushing. “I see you are.”

“I’m trying these on to see if they fit,” the silver-haired man explained. “I can’t stick out if I want to gather information. I doubt my metallic Lin Kuei uniform won’t get any second glances, you know?”

“Good point,” the Chinese man agreed, cheeks still pink.

A sudden thought entered the Czechoslovakian man’s mind. Bi-Han never loses his composure, he thought. I wonder how far this can go?

Tomas smiled. “What do you think? Do I look good?”

Bi-Han blinked. “What do mean?” he asked, suddenly feeling unsure of himself.

“Do you think these clothes will help me blend in with a crowd?” the older man clarified.

“Oh,” the younger man relaxed. “They should get the job done.”

“Good,” Tomas nodded, stepping closer.

Bi-Han stayed where he was, eyes flicking down to stare at Tomas’s bare chest before quickly returning to his face. Tomas pretended not to notice as he advanced.

This is gonna be fun, he mused, internally grinning.

“What’s wrong?” he inquired, now standing in front of Bi-Han.

“Button up,” the other man stated, cheeks now a darker pink.

“Why?” Tomas asked.

“You’ll stick out like that,” Bi-Han responded, willing his eyes to stay trained on Tomas’s face.

“Don’t like what you see?” Tomas smirked.

Bi-Han was caught off guard by that question, enough to not think about what he was going to say next.

“It’s not that,” he replied quickly.

“So you do like what you see?” Tomas was enjoying himself.

Bi-Han’s face was now red.

“I…” he started, but didn’t know what to say after that.

Tomas leaned in, his lips next to Bi-Han’s ear.

“I think that’s a ‘yes,’” he whispered huskily.

Bi-Han drew in a sharp breath, which he shuddered out a few seconds later.

“Tomas…” he said softly.

“Yes?” Tomas didn’t move an inch.

“You made your point,” Bi-Han stated, trying to sound firm. “I’ll knock before entering in the future. Now stop this.”

Tomas drew back, smirk still in place. “You think that’s what this is about?”

“What else could it be about?” Bi-Han arched an eyebrow.

Tomas’s smirk shifted into a grin.

“How I can make you squirm,” he replied. “Apparently, it’s by seducing you with my body.”

“You’re not seducing me, nor making me squirm!” Bi-Han was suddenly defensive, embarrassment coursing throughout his being.

Tomas laughed at this. “You should see your face! I’ve never seen you like this before!”

Bi-Han grit his teeth, then turned around and left, slamming the door behind him. Tomas continued laughing, tears forming in his eyes.

“I’m never letting him live this one down!” he laughed.

As Bi-Han made his way to his and Kuai Liang’s room, he could only think of how much of a fool he felt like. Before he knew it, he was inside.

“Bi-Han, are you okay?” Kuai asked. “Your face is red.”

“I don’t want to talk about it!” Bi-Han said loudly, before he buried himself into his sleeping mat and pillow.

“… Is this Tomas’s fault?” the younger twin asked.

A muffled noise of frustration was Bi-Han’s response.

“Thought so,” Kuai nodded.

Tomas, I don’t know what you did, he thought, but whatever it was, you won. Well done.

This is my first time doing a fully colored chibi MK piece. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun and will definitely consider doing it more often ~

Your face when you realize that in an attempt to make things appropriate for children, 4Kids Entertainment made things even worse/more messed up. In Yu-Gi-Oh!, Rafael's family dies in a tidal wave, and Dartz makes him dig up his younger siblings' skulls. 4Kids changed it so that his family all survived, but they COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT HIM. He was missing for three years, and they didn't accept him back when he returned. Of course, this was all a lie by Dartz, but still. That's dark, 4Kids!

Not to mention that the shadow realm is probably a fate worse than death considering that it’s probably akin to that school people get trapped in in corpse party: if you somehow don’t get killed by angry ghosts and somehow stay sane you die of hunger and thirst. :( I mean if you get trapped there too long

Cassie Cage, please!

Character Meme

First impression: Before Mortal Kombat X final release, didn’t know of its existence yet until a college friend showed me. He told me a rumor that Cassie might have been Johnny Cage’s wife or something. As if that was Johnny’s second attempt with somebody else if Sonya didn’t work out. Was hilariously confused at the time, shrugged with what he said but thought she looked like a decent character. Lol’d knowing much later that was Johnny’s and Sonya’s daughter. I just didn’t expect Johnny and Sonya to have babies honestly.

Impression now: Sensual as her mother, daring as her father. Can have a stern attitude during missions and can toy with her opponents in fights. She’s a pistol whipping, shooting badass, reminds me so much of Revy from Black Lagoon who is just as great.

Favorite moment: In story mode chapter 11, when she devastated a small area with grenades and caused the trees to fall on a lot of Osh-Tekk warriors. Why the hell didn’t she pull those grenades out in earlier fights? I don’t know. Was satisfying having Kotal Kahn, Ermac, Erron Black and Ferra/Torr freak out seeing the power of modern weapons like that. Never underestimate the power of a soldier, fellas!

Idea for a story: The idea that Cassie Cage is a pilot if the Special Forces in the MK universe is a multirole force. It could explain why she is dressed differently with a suit while other soldiers like Jacqui Briggs, male Sergeants, female troopers and Lieutenants are uniformed differently. One of Cassie’s concept arts has an aircraft in the background (possibly an F-16) while her character badge is an F-35. No other SF character has an aircraft but her. Why would she even have an F-35 badge anyway I wonder. Hmm.

Unpopular opinion: I think Cassie can be a serious character than what many might think. Even if she can toy, tease and mock her opponents in a fight, on a mission she’s more stern and serious like her mother. There’s a reason why Kuai Liang thinks she is more like Sonya, and it wasn’t because of her looks. That’s why I’m glad this detail was brought up, she’s more than just the sassy trait.

Favorite relationship: Erron/Cassie. Two different sides of the same coin. Back then I thought the ship made no sense until I found the possibility that Erron might have a secret thing for the Sergeant from his (“Let’s teach you some manners”) dialogue and how she fits his type of attraction “girls with guns.” Their gameplay interactions don’t feel threatening, there’s teasing involved and how Cassie was able to know Erron was amused behind his mask from far away was surprising (“Is something funny?”). Found their Mercenary/Soldier dynamic interesting later on as it could work for understanding each other since their purpose is to serve under their masters but with different intentions. They both twirl their guns VERY fast so it would be cool if they could bond through weapons too. There’s a certain equal balance to me that I like between the two. The ship played an important role after my grandmother’s passing…helped me cope so the ship stuck strong y'know? Made a gif to show what I mean. :)

Favorite headcanon: I guess the headcanon of her using the NATO phonetic alphabet on other people and then they get confused by them? Could cause some comedy. Who knows?

Holiday headcanon! In Chaosrealm, mistletoe of any and all kinds is an extremely rare, and extremely delicious, delicacy. Chaosrealmers don't get sick, poisoned, or die from eating any part of it, nor do they know about Earthrealm's tradition about it. If they were to visit Earthrealm during the holidays, they'd lose their minds and devour all of the mistletoe in ecstasy.

the idea of havik eating mistletoe instead of using it as an excuse to kiss anyone is SO FUNNY thank you
