i've been busy writing a new novel, here's the main character anir :) he made a contract with a god to get luck manipulation powers, but in return he had to take on the soul of a dead man, who has his own unfulfilled contract. he hasn't been sleeping a lot, on account of how the other soul takes over his body at night.

Okay, but what are the odds that Anir, Alexi, and (now) Val have a club or support group where they meet up and groan about their respective Princes (Wrath, Envy and, Gluttony), being in love? Like they set up charcuterie boards, get glasses of wine (and blood), and just mindlessly bitch about how they make their jobs harder.

Think Val searching high and low for Gluttony, who avoids to get more 'quality time' with Adriana. Or Alexi waiting with a delegation that came to meet Envy, only Camilla had stoked his sin right before they arrived, and now they have to wait while he claims her on his throne. Loudly. Or Wrath pissing off his chefs because he kicks them out of the kitchen to cook with Emilia (amongst other things).

In Throne of the Fallen, Alexi had to convince Envy to go after Camilla, and I'm pretty sure Val finding out that Gluttony fell in love with Adriana is going to send her reeling (even though she's probably going to tell Gluttony not to be a baby about it and just talk to her). Anir probably had the same frustrations with Wrath, during the original trilogy, and before it, when Wrath fell in love with her for the first time.

They would also spilling the most piping hot tea in all of the underworld about what their princes are like behind closed doors, when they think no one is watching. I'm picturing them being shocked over the idea of Wrath cooking with Emilia at all, and giving her doe eyes while she treats his giant hellhounds like puppies (they totally like her more). Or Envy sitting down to paint with Camilla, and go on romantic picnics with Camilla.

Every time one of the princes gets engaged, they'd approach their burnt out second who seems ready to quit, and give them a time and place. If Emilia ever found out about it, she'd probably start her own club though, where the wives + best friends gather to discuss how difficult their princes were in the beginning (and maybe some side stories about how frustrating Emilia found Fauna and Anir until she finally asked him out).

Also, little cottage, ummmm is this in Northern Italy by chance? If it is my money is so on it being the First Witch or her daughter, but why?

Wicked are the seven brothers of hell obviously, but who are the Feared? Are they witch counterparts to the brothers? Are they the seven sisters? Or are they super evil witches?

They're not from their island, that's not all that surprising actually.

Are the witches not cursed at all? Is it the Wicked and the Feared who are cursed and the witches are somehow stuck in the middle?

Sofia stole the first book of spells...as in the same one Vittoria found...as in the same one Emilia then found...the same one she then stole from House Envy...the same one she then found out was not the First Witch's but the Crone's...who is a goddess...

😅😅😅 he loses his cool and everything is ice, she loses her cool and everything is fire. These two are so perfect for each other. I love that her fire is in the shape of flowers. Pretty, but deadly. And Wrath is unfazed by it, he just takes it in stride. ❤️❤️

Oh my god I just realized that too, if she's a goddess and immortal why did Wrath have to save her? Or is she not because of the curse? Or because she's a reincarnation and not the true goddess of Fury? Envy makes it sound like there’s still more to her we don’t know and I’m obliged to believe him at this point

So Vittoria was behind the murdered girls, and it sounds like they did not come back like she did. That still leaves the question of why/how that equals Wrath looking for a bride for Pride.

Will the curse be lifted once they sign the paperwork? Or does he have to give her his heart to lift his curse? I think we're going to find that she already has it

I agree, I don't believe Vesta is dead. I just had a thought but I don't think it will work. I thought maybe Vesta was Pride's wife but she died so that doesn't work unless…Oh My God. What if…Pride's wife had her heart ripped out too. What if it was also put into another body or brought back or whatever it is Vittoria did? What if Vesta IS her? It would explain why Greed wanted her, why she started asking questions about the portal and scenting...🤔🤔🤔

Awww she used to sneak over to Gluttony’s and take the horse for rides. I’m really gonna need a prequel where we see this whole thing go down. ‘Cause I need to see her friendship with Gluttony and Envy develop. I think it would be so cute. Not to mention watching Wrath find out about the plan and not caring because he loves her ❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰

I really enjoyed this book. I think the build to the climax was a little lackluster, and her sister not being evil was a bit of a let down. Especially because of everything she did. Taking her revenge and not just telling Emilia what was going on. I know some of that was the curse, but still. I also feel like throwing the whole Vesta thing in there was kind of random. I feel like the only purpose it served was to give Greed an excuse to want her blood. Though it also almost seems like it’s a setup for another book, following other characters. 🤔🤔🤔

Anyway, on to Blessed Dragons!
