ever wonder what my muse thinks of yours?

Why does he have to be so perfect? I mean, I know no one truly is perfect in the traditional sense. We all have our shit but, it's like every day that goes by he gets more perfect for me. Which of course just makes all of this worse doesn't it? Pining over a taken man. Pretty on point for us isn't Niyah? Couldn't fall for that cute guy that works at the coffee shop you go to daily. Or the guy at the gym that's tried to give you his number before. Nope. Had to be Landon. Had to be the cute coworker. Had to be the cute coworker with a girlfriend that is one hundred percent cooler than you are! But how could I not? He really is...perfect. He seems to really care what I have to say and...genuinely just seems to care about ME. I didn't stand a chance really. It's the eyes. They just feel like home. The home I wanted and never got. Why can't it just be me for once?

Every single glance his way has been at work. She's thrown a glance his way anytime he's gotten up to get coffee, or to go and talk to someone else in their office space. Too shy to speak up for the longest time. I'd say three of the five were before they began speaking. All literal stolen glances and averting eyes the minute he turned in her direction

Another one after they first really spoke, maybe went out for coffee to discuss work but ended up talking about everything but work. He would be the first person she talked to about her being able to speak to spirits and being an unwilling medium.

Another stolen glance would be after a first date. Probably more looking at his butt than his face or something silly like that.
