I see no difference
i’ve fallen into the anlett pit once more ugh
what's opinion on Anlett (Anna/Hewlett ship)? I personally prefer Anncoe (Anna/Simcoe) but is afraid to come out and talk about to people in Turn fandom cause they will definitely shipshame me:(
First, I’m not a big fan of Anna so I don’t care about her. But I suppose that Anlett is cute and for the first time, Anna is seen as a real person and not just as a possession by a man who claims to love her. I suppose she deserves it after all the shit she went through with Selah & Abe, and Simcoe.
For Anna/Simcoe, you have to know that you’re safe here. Even if I don’t ship it, (or even if I hate it) you can ship what you want, you have the right to do it and nobody should shipshame you for that. I ship a lot of “problematic” ships and I face often people shaming me for one of my OTPs. That’s not right and people who do this don’t realize how hurtful it can be. Falling for an OTP or a ship is like falling in love. There is nothing logical in this.
I know that I can be strongly against a ship (Johnlock is one of my strongest NOTPs) because I can have a problem about how people idealize the relationship. When you ship something, you have to be aware of the flaws of your ship. But you don’t have to feel ashamed to ship it. Never.
