One thing i appreciate is that Mercy's character has something outside of Adam's orbit and doesn't revolve around her coyote nature (her mechanic job). Although the last couple of books she's all about obsessing over Adam and keeping him calm and happy with coitus.

Anna doesn't have her own separate thing outside of Charles and her werewolf nature and it's like girlfriend get a life or something.

You know, as I get older than the protagonists of most of my books, I think it would be so cool if Anna from Alpha and Omega had been middle aged instead of a college student.

I do love it as is - but wouldn't it be cool to see how the transformation to a younger body, the disillusionment of a settled and lived in world, affect a woman?
