Another cool thing about KillJam XXX I don’t see brought up enough is how it’s like, despite all the other bad shit happening in this world, people have a pretty ideal amount of bodily autonomy at least looks and gender-wise???
Like aside from transness being so normalized, there’s also people out here becoming giant snakes and she-wolves and shit. Anna really said “fuck it, I love being a snake” and went for it. And other characters love that for her (Except Bellamy obvs but that’s his problem) We may not be becoming snakes or cyborgs in this world but we as a society should bring that same energy to whatever people decide to do that makes them happy and feel good about themselves.
(Also as a neurodivergent person I very much enjoy the detail that even though Faustina was literally grown in a lab, she’s STILL autistic. Fuck yeah.)
