My bestie is crowdfunding her next album. It's jazz with a healthy dose of 'other' .

My dearest Anna Margolina will be putting poems by Anna Margolin (1887-1952) to music. Both women are from the same area (Belarus) with a Jewish background. The wonderful poems are in Yiddish and the few songs Anna already has in her repertoire are absolutely beautiful.

Please help a girl out. Share this, help if you can. She's the sweetest but has been fighting an uphill battle for so long.

She's been pouring her heart into her music for decades and can use a little support.

Jazz Vocalist Anna Margolina & her ensemble are recording an album that is reflecting on Yiddish poetry of Anna Margolin (1887-1952).

I'm finally picking up my latest project again.

This is my dear friend Anna Margolina, photographed by Victoria Byt, during the recording of her online jazz show Old Fashioned Sleepless Nights on YouTube.

They are looking for crowd founding to keep it going. So, if you like jazz, music, art and wonderful honest and fun talk, consider giving them a hand. The show is in German for now but that might change in the future (the songs are in English and Yiddish).

This will be "coloured" with gray scale Copics and gold paint and maybe a hint of silver.

Anna Margolina - Cold Waters music video release day!

My brother was a production assistant here and Anna is one of my closest friends. I've known her for over 20 years.

You can find her beautiful album on various streaming platforms. It's about identity, family, emigration, finding oneself in a strange place and finding a new home... A new life.

Cold Waters is about being/feeling isolated through language and cultural barriers; about being the weird new kid that doesn't understand what's going on.

Do us a favour and listen to it! I'd appreciate it and she certainly deserves to be heard.
