Anna came from a well-known family of artists. Her father, Pieter Francis Peters, was a landscape painter, and her sisters Pietronella and Ida made their names as painters. Anna herself was a celebrated floral painter at a young age. The way in which she arranged her flowers in a natural way in her compositions won admiration. She won numerous prizes with her work and worked in many European countries, including Italy, Holland and Switzerland.

I Know Who You Are

A OC One-Shot

Summary: Paul was invited to a formal event, and Cherry tags along. Things go awry.

(AU where paul works in an office building, instead of a drug store. All other elements of backstory and personality stay the same.)

Warnings: implications of a panic attack, life threatening, and implications of past abuse.

"Wow..." Cherry's eyes lit up at the sight of the ballroom. The chandilier gleamed brightly, and the waiters were all dressed up.

So this was a formal event...

She fumbled with her tie to keep it from suffocating her, while still keeping their arm looped around paul's.

"Damn, this place is packed, huh?"

The two roamed around the large dancefloor, exploring a bit.

And yet out of the corner of her eye, Cherry spotted someone.

Someone familiar.

Their silky, blood red dress that reached to their knees fit on their frame perfectly, as if it was tailored to them and them only. The person's long black hair fell to their waist, with very few grey streaks occasionally lining it. The feathered blue boa looped around their shoulders, only held in place by their arms. In between two fingers held a long smoker.

It was her so called 'Mother'.

Cherry felt her chest tighten and her breathing became rapid.

Not again not again not again NOT AGAIN NOT AGAIN

They gripped their companion's arm tighter, starting to regret her decision of coming here.

"P..." She was unable to produce words.

He glanced over, seeing now. Cherry was terrified.

"Kid?" All they could do was point. At her.

The latter was chatting it up with a waitress, and glanced over at the pair. Cherry whimpered and gripped harder.

As the lady, that MONSTER in a human body, strolled over in her black platform heels, the teen ducked behind the older of the pair.

"Ah! Hello Paul!" The woman said in a smooth, rich asshole-ish voice; it was the kind you'd hear in movies.

"Ms. Peters." Paul held a strained smile at the latter.

"Please, just call me Donna! I hear you're the star employee?" The ex-mother, now known as Donna, queried.

"I guess you could say that?" Oh boy...

Donna hadn't noticed her former child on the verge of a meltdown behind him. Hopefully it will stay that-

"And who'd this behind you?"

Shit.

"Uh-" Cherry choked on her own words.

Jesus christ.

"Well, uh, that's-" Crap, crap, come up with a name Paul! "-Salle! I'm...." He hesitated. "...babysitting her?"

The CEO looked doubtful for a second. Cherry gulped, 'This is it for me...' they thought.

"Ms. Peters! Hello over there!" A voice called from the crowd of refined rich people. CEOs of their own companies, I suppose.

"Goodbye now!" She smiled. "And one more thing to you..." She leaned into Cherry's ear.

"I know who you are. I will make sure neither of you leave this event. And once I get you alone, you will be nothing but a stuffed doll in my collection."

Cherry's name is Anna Peters, while Paul's is Paul K. Stelins.

I wanna write more for Donna (and eventually make a ref sheet for her, cherry, and bee), but for now, have this!
