I love this.
During the winter, my hair gets really dry and brittle. I don’t make it any better by using gel on my hair. It doesn’t make a difference if it’s Eco Style Olive Oil Gel, all gel still dries the hair out. My hair is extremely thick and is very cumbersome at times. This is the reason why I adopted Anna Wintour and have a signature style: my pony tail. It may be just a pony tail, but there are so many ways to wear one! The only other style you may see me wear is with my hair straight with a part in the middle (peep my pic on the home page) I don’t deviate from those two styles. I like classic and simple.
Okay now back to my dry hair. Since I’ve been experimenting with new skin products and applying makeup, I decided to try a new brand product on my hair, the ORS (Organic Root Stimulator) line. I had already been using the brand in relaxer form, and I loved the results. Everything is creamy! The Creamy Aloe Shampoo leaves your hair feeling like silk. I became addicted to their Organic Root Olive Oil Replenishing Pak Conditioner that comes in the kit. It leaves your hair so soft and it smells so yummy. (Yummy is my new word!)
In the past I had used Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk Pudding. The hold was great, but at $12 each, I could easily spend $48 or more per month just on that alone. So what could I use?

Also in the relaxer kit they have a small sample of the Incredibly Rich Oil Moisturizing Lotion. I would put these to the side and use my usual Olive Oil Gel to form my perfectly crafted ponytail. But I grew tired of gel. When you work out like I do, your hair perspires and becomes flaky in a shorter period of time than usual. So I decided to try the sample in between my relaxer. What took me so long? I love it!
Like the name says (Incredibly Rich Oil Moisturizing Lotion) it is incredibly rich. Not too oily or greasy for my super dry hair. It made my hair just as soft and smooth as the conditioner. I now call it my CREAMY HAIR CRACK! I don’t need the gel for my edges. I now use their edge control or hair pudding. A little dab will do you!
Now I still love my Organix Argan Oil | Shea Butter shampoo and conditioner, but now I switch it up. What works for you? Let me know!
DISCLAIMER
I only write about products I believe in and actually use. I don’t do reviews just for the sake of doing reviews or because it’s new I have to try it. Case in point: ORS has been on the market for years. I just decided to try it. So if I like it you will see it. If you don’t see it, then it means: “I may not have tried it!”
