What kind of shampoo do you use for your piggies?
this one! although there’s kind of mixed feelings on using kitten shampoo b/c people claim it dries out guinea pig’s skin. that may very well be true but i personally haven’t had any problems yet. i also feel pretty confident about this one b/c other than the sort of vague ‘coconut based cleanser,’ the only other real ingredients are water, aloe vera and jojoba. if there’s a fragrance free option, i would get that instead though it’s probably better for the pgis’ noses. also a lot of people use the specially formulated shampoos from gorgeousguineas, but it’s a UK (or maybe EU) based company and while the product is probably superior, i don’t really wanna pay almost $20 (shipped) for a bottle of shampoo my pigs will only use maybe twice a year. xp
