A darling asked me a question but forgot to turn on anon, but fear not! I'm still going to answer their asks

"what animal or breed of cats/dogs would you assign for your eps rewrite characters?"

Cain: Definitely a long haired breed or a dog whose hair can be styled! I'm thinking poodle, Afghan hound, or Yorkshire terrier! Cat breed? Definitely a gorgeous Persian kitty.

Samael: Xolo dogs! They typically are symbols of death especially in Mexican culture. That or a grey hound. Skinny and quick dogs. And of course, classic black cat. Less representing bad luck, and more so representing his inevitable embrace.

Chris: Definitely a boxer (which honestly is meant to be more of a pun but also since he's such a strong guy). I don't see him being any kind of cat, but if I had to choose I'd say maine coon.

Sano: Bobtail cat! They're suppose to be playful, but Sano is anything but. A very ironic breed for him. That or a Japanese terrier!

Akira: Honestly, same as Sano since they are twins. However, Akira definitely embraces the bobtail cat personality better. They'd both be the same animal, but I think Akira would be a bit bigger.

Annabelle: A curly haired little dauchsand or a cocker spaniel! Emphasis on the curls, they really make those cuties even more deadly adorable. Ragdoll cat! I mean with those adorable wide eyes, how can Sano not fall in love? Along with their even cuter faces.

Marcus: Australian shepherd! Tough dog, but not quite as tough as its German counterpart. Honestly I don't see him ever being a cat tho, but maybe a classic american short hair.

Jack: Classic beagle all the way. Maybe even a wiener dog or jack Russell terrier (I can't spell dauchsand). Looks unthreatening but don't forget he still has teeth!

Sergio: Honestly he'd so be a devon rex. I can see him with the fur pattern especially. As for dogs I'd have to say a small to medium breed, like a boston terrier or a spanish water dog.

Leon: Cane corso or great dane. He's large and in charge and will use his teeth for a good fight. I know Leon would love to be a bengal cat, especially with those striking patterns.

Athena: Doberman. Quiet, trained, but still not afraid to fight. And for cat I'm thinking a gorgeous lynx point!

The fact that I drew Annabelle 7 months ago, I was forced to draw her even though I hated her lol 😭

Personally I love Annabelle, I love torturing her (this girl can fit so much trauma). But she looks like one of those gacha dress up girls!!! God i wish I could draw outfits like you

Why has no one asked about your Annabelle rewrite(<- Also guilty but shhh)

Probably cause I dont post about her a ton (I do have a request for an Annabelle x Sano angst piece that I've started on tho)

But you want Annabelle? You're in luck!

Annabelle use to be a party girl, fun living, free spirited, and she looked completely different. Blonde hair, a bit too much spray on tan, and lots of makeup. She met Sano at the Snake Pit and they started talking, went back to his place and next thing you know she's getting knocked out and waking up strapped to a surgery table.

Annabelle is important to Sano for one reason. She was his most successful doll, although perhaps the repeated head trauma was to blame for her being so compliant. She was the time the transplant of porcelain limbs worked. Soon enough that fun loving girl was no longer giggling and smiling. Since Akira is meant to watch over Sano's experiments while Sano is out of the house, they got to talking. Before a food slot in the door was implemented, Akira actually got to meet Sano's victims face to face.

The two ended up trauma bonding over their experiences from Sano. Akira is no stranger to Sano's manipulation. The two clung to each other since they didn't really have anyone else, and that evolved into a physical relationship. All was well! Until Annabelle was pregnant and Sano found out. That whole incident might've been the only time Sano was so pissed he actually hit someone.

Akira did defend Annabelle, but it did create a deep wound in the bond with his brother. Annabelle was terrified. She didn't want to be a mom yet. Akira insisted she keep it. Annabelle's labor was rather traumatizing and painful, especially since the only doctor in the house refused to help. Akira was so happy to be a dad, but that came at the cost of not helping Annabelle. Annabelle fell into severe post partoum and wanted nothing to do with Akano.

She eventually did escape. When Sano got a new victim she used that chance to her advantage. She felt awful having to leave them behind, but she wanted her life back. She wandered around for a couple hours until she finally recognized a street. Her family and friends were so happy to have her back, but Annabelle just wanted to disappear. They insisted they take her to a hospital, but she couldn't. Not when most of her body wasnt even hers anymore.

She now works a boring office job, wears sweaters and pants no matter the weather, and is deathly terrified one day she'll wake up and her limbs won't work. She's also really terrified of kids. Everytime she hears a kid cry in public, her mind wanders into a dark place. The repeated head trauma from Sano's experiments also gave her CTE. She's got some memory issues now.

This is a little side note, but due to the CTE, I imagine after she escaped she tried having a normal relationship. Tried bringing a guy home. But once she got undressed its like some switch flipped in her head, and suddenly Sano was in front of her again. She ended up killing the guy and when she finally realized what she had done she was so devastated she sat in the shower for two hours. Just a little something I imagined for a future story. She's my favorite character to traumatize lmao

i cant remember if your rewrite of annabelle wears prosthetic or not,

but has anypony considered prosthesis pain from wearing them all day for their annabelles rewrite / ocs whump?

If you're talking about the doll limbs, yes Annabelle still has them! She just keeps them hidden by wearing sweaters, pants, and gloves all the time. I haven't really considered phantom pain because I always just imagined that the limbs feel more like her original arms. The only thing that really messes with her is that she knows those arms and legs aren't actually hers, but they move like they are. It's not like she can take them off either since Sano attached them to her body lmao

Also I never fully understood the definition of "whump" can someone please explain it to me? I know it's for like dark content but I'm not entirely sure

After yesterday I was thinking of redesigning her design before she ran away from Sano I like her old design more than the dollmaker design ep did.

One of the reasons why I make her into a catgirl is due to one of the old comics that ep did I think she was more of a wolf/fox when a cat.

Okay but the comic is lowkey kinda funny

She looks like every anime protagonist ever, but still kinda cute

Also i love the redesign!!! ♡♡♡
