HAHAHA, man…😖😖 This game was an emotional rollercoaster for me. A lot of things in the game are downright weird or even VERY bizarre, because:

First: There's a lot of fetishistic content. Second: I think the game is incredibly short in many ways.

This game was released a little later as a kind of reward for the public that was waiting for the release of Empire. EP couldn't finish the game and decided to make a new one so as not to disappoint people. So the game ended up appearing as a small stopgap.

I like the game, since it was one of the only ones that EP released alone and complete (unlike many that only told a story without much interaction, as is the case with The Nightmare). But I also dislike it for several reasons (the main one being pure fetishism). But answering some things you sent me (I don't know if they were questions or not, but I think I can answer them)

About Jack and Alice, EP had already said that yes, they weren't a couple and their relationship just happened out of nowhere, they were together for a short time and had Jason. If my memory serves me right, there's a route in the game where Jack abandons us and some people asked EP where Jack had gone and some people deduced that maybe Jack had taken refuge in Alice's house.

Now, guess what EP answered….HAHHA yes, Jack ended up going to Alice and running away from you.

Jack and Alice didn't end up together because Jack was the problem. Jack is a psychopath (according to EP) who doesn't feel emotions. EP confirmed that Jack only married us because we were the only ones he was interested in (but the interest ends up being very fragile because, if we discover who Jack really is, he ends up losing interest and killing us).

Yes, Jack didn't like Ellen because she was "too curious." The character was always described as obsessed; she wanted to know everything and anything about Jack (or anyone who called/charmed her; this was proven in the game in an ending where she became obsessed with us afterward). If I'm right, the character's creator didn't want her to be romantically obsessed with Jack or even with us. It was a more complex feeling than just being in love (Something like, they were her reason for living).

AAAAhhhhhhh….😫😫😫 About the King siblings, I hated that incest fetish that EP had. I much preferred Aria to just be protective of her brother, not in love with him. Aria was a character I found very interesting; she was the younger sister and favorite of her parents, defending her disadvantaged brother from the very people who took her in. She saw herself protecting her brother even from the person he loved (I don't know if you understand me or if I'm rambling too much, but Aria had everything to have a complex and mature development, but all of that was thrown away because EP focused on that unfortunate part of the story (sorry, but I hate those incest plots)).

And the reason for that passion was still very stupid. I wrote some fanfiction at the time, and I completely ignored that part….Aria and Chris will always be my beloved and misunderstood characters.

I'm not much into beastskins (I know I spelled it wrong) BUT I absolutely love deer-coaded characters and anything to do with deer!! Your headcanons were super cool and I definitely will look more into them now.

Question prompt for you: how would the tddup characters be with an autistic partner? How about one with an intense special interest? I'm curious because I'm autistic and my special interest is a big part of my life.

I’ve also never personally been big on Beastkin myself, but it’s been a lot of fun seeing how many people are coming out of the woodwork about them! I think there’s something inherently interesting in the power dynamics of a Human and a Beastkin that feels very at home in this kind of fandom. I’m the same way about Deer characters! It’s why I’ve been really excited about the Deer Headcanons (Which I am still actively working on!! This week has just been very busy for me). I’m very excited about this ask because as someone with The Tism who is often very lovingly given the space to infodump to my partner, I relate heavily to this. This was a very fun one and the personal experience probably went a long way here, but it makes me happy and I hope you appreciate it too! These ran long so under the cut there are Headcanons for: Jack Buchanan, Jason Buchanan, Marcus De La Cruz, Chris King, and John!

Jack Buchanan: Jack thrives with an autistic partner, mostly because they both have intrinsic quirks that work together very well. Jack is meticulous and analytical, so being given a lot of information at once works great for him. Instead of consuming a visual media or putting in hours outside of time with his partner, they can fill him in on things that they love to astonishing detail that he will remember, much better than if he’d gone into the subject alone. He will absolutely spend time with his partner to see the interests personally (reading a book, watching a show or movie, watching his partner play a videogame, etc), but going into it knowing more about what’s important to his partner helps him track the important details. Believe me, you will be getting the most niche, specific, and obscure gifts for the rest of your life, and they will be overwhelmingly thoughtful. This is the perfect kind of partner for Jack, because while he struggles with connection through direct emotions sometimes, information and shared knowledge help him to really know and organically connect with people.

Jason Buchanan: Jason loves to talk, but he loves listening to the person he cares about talk even more. Watching the way their eyes light up at certain details of a subject, nodding his head as they emphasize the importance with hand gestures, and just seeing them kind of lose their breath when they get to something that they need to articulate all in one go… It’s really endearing to him. He’s got a very normal amount of knowledge about things he loves, knowing a couple niche things here and there, but seeing a partner with an intense hyperfixation would really kind of give him a bit of pride towards them in just how much they know about a certain subject or thing. He’d be inspired to learn with them. If it was an educational topic or field of study, he’d honestly go out of his way to research it or even take classes to better understand the things his partner is talking about. He doesn’t get bored when it comes to museums or galleries, so he’d often be looking for experiences to share that would be a bonding experience.

Marcus De La Cruz: Marcus is a surprisingly good candidate for a partner with autism. Probably unexpected, but there would be a newfound level of appreciation here. Marcus would meet his match if he had an autistic partner, especially one with very specific preferences. Marcus is used to mistreating submission for control, but having a partner that might be more direct with their needs and interests would help him grow past a lot of those problems. He doesn’t have to do guesswork, because you’re telling him what you need. Some folks with autism don’t have rigid preferences, but one who does want to eat at a certain place or at a certain time, or someone who wants to be in a certain seat or stick to a certain schedule, they would help Marcus start to compromise on control. As for a special interest, his obsession with you would make your infodumping a mutually enjoyed experience. You get to talk about whatever it is that you love and care about, and Marcus gets that insight into what really makes you tick, makes you happy. He gets to see that same deep love that he has for you in your own eyes in a new way and this would probably be the healthiest kind of relationship a guy like him could find himself in. 

Chris King: Chris is surprisingly the hard sell here. I feel like because of his need for control in his self image and his concerns of how he presents himself, he might struggle with an autistic partner, and it is absolutely not their fault. Chris needs pattern, he needs routine, he needs to feel safe, and in those aspects, I feel like there’s a lot they could connect with. But Chris’ need to blend in and not cause problems in how things are handled might not always align with someone who is autistic. If he has a partner that is overly blunt and brash, or doesn’t really follow social cues, he might become anxious and inadvertently try to control a situation socially, which just really wouldn’t work out. It’s something he’d really have to put effort into working on, because again, it’s not about the partner, it’s about his self perception and the feeling that eyes are always on him, that he’s not doing things right, and that can extend to his partners. As for a special interest, he’d really try to listen and understand it. Chris would want to listen to you talk, he’d want to get what it is you love so much about the topic, but he can get into a headfog if you go on for too long, and he might miss something important. He might start taking notes or trying to come up with questions on his own to ask you in bursts. I think if you and Chris are genuinely compatible, you guys can make it work, especially if there’s an outside source that’s aiding you (couples therapy has such a taboo around it, but I think understanding yourselves and each other in your relationship would benefit you both to make this work). He is always trying to be a better person and he is a very genuinely understanding partner, there just might be some work to put in on both sides, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.

John: I feel like John would struggle to fully see the difference between the interests that he has and something like a special interest or hyperfixation. Maybe John’s undiagnosed, who knows, but he would meet his partner’s intensity with his own. For every 10 minutes you spend talking about your special interest, you are probably going to have a John Follow Up with what he’s interested in, too. It might feel superficial in its depth, but you can tell he’s coming from a place of wanting to connect. It’s kind of like when you tell someone about something that happened to you and their follow up is ‘Oh this happened to me, too’. Some people might find it rude, but you know John. This is how he connects. He has a lot of fandoms that he likes and he consumes a lot of media content, so he lives in a precarious balance between looking a bit like a know it all and also just really wanting to share things with you, too. John, as always, means well in everything that he does, he just might not fully grasp how important and core to you these special interests are, but maybe he’ll learn through time.

AS A GENERAL NOTE: These are based on my own experiences as someone with autism and with autistic friends. Autism has a very broad range and these may not line up with other people's experiences. We all experience things differently. Don’t come for me lol.
