Spock turned away, swallowing frantically and blushing green to the roots of his hair. He wiped his mouth on the back of his hand, too embarrassed to meet T’Ora’s eyes as she came around to sit delicately in the sand before him.
“I believe we may have more work to do as regards this aspect of your trauma,” she said lightly.
Spock stared hard at the sand and T’Ora did not speak again for a time, perhaps allowing Spock to sit with his humiliation.
Finally she said, “Explain this to me.” It was not a forceful command, but rather a request to understand.

@cohobbitation, you have been so patient with me as I waded through the past like two months of silence over here, and for that I am so thankful. You asked me to do another scene of my choosing from the incomparably wonderful and talented @annaknitsspock‘s fic, The World Well Lost. T’Ora is quite possibly one of my fave Star Trek OCs ever. Her presence in this fic is so crucial to Spock’s recovery, and I could read stuff about her forever. :)
Thank you again for your patience, and for giving me the opportunity to draw once again for such a wonderful piece of writing!

the post is from last night but the pictures are from the 4th of july, so, uh, probably too late for that. anyway, it just isn’t feasible for my family to keep everything--grandma and grandpa’s house was packed as it was, plus there was a storage unit with even more. as far as i know, they’re keeping the stuff that has actual personal relevance to the family (books autographed to grandma and grandpa, etc), but everything else is going somewhere with actual curatorial ability. it’ll get taken care of way better than it could be in a normal house, and it’ll remove the stress of having valuable stuff just lying around.

Omg I feel this so hard. Different username on ksarchive, remembering to change the ksarchive version if you correct a typo or something on AO3. But it’s worth it to have a space just for K/S so good for you!!
it’s good in a way because most of my fics were never edited or proofread by anyone but me, so I’m rereading them before i post them and catching errors I never noticed before... but this way I guess anyone who only reads on ksa (is there anyone who actually only reads ksa and not on ao3?????) will have new fics to read. lol. plus it feels like added security, having my fics in two places instead of just one!
the different usernames distresses me so much tho :C
