Joni Mitchell to Receive Lifetime Achievement Juno Award

- Ceremony slated for March 29, 2026, in Ontario

Joni Mitchell will receive the Juno’s Lifetime Achievement award in 2026, becoming just the third artist to merit the honor.

“The distinction recognizes (Mitchell’s) outstanding artistic contributions and enduring impact on global music culture,” the Junos said in a statement.

Mitchell, 82, is “one of the most influential songwriters and voices of her generation,” the statement said.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for March 29, 2026, in Ontario, when Mitchell will enter the company of previous award winners Pierre Juneau (1989) and Anne Murray (2025).
