Grand Second Empire house St. Anne's Hill Dutoit St. Dayton OH by John Shiflet Via Flickr: One of the grandest Second Empire homes in Dayton is here on Dutoit Street. This grand mansion is called the Bossler Mansion and dates from the 1860's according to a local narrative. The only thing that might be missing would be delicate ornamental iron cresting on the roofline.

Dutiot Street St. Anne's Hill Gothic Revival twins Dayton Ohio by John Shiflet Via Flickr: Dutoit Street's period of prominence was roughly from 1850 to 1900. These fine Gothic Revival cottages executed in brick are part of Dutoit Street's visual appeal. They are some of the best examples of the Gothic Revival style in the St. Anne's Hill neighborhood. The St. Anne's Hill historic district is spread over 14 blocks east of downtown Dayton.
