More Post Venom 3 au Headcanons

(Mild spoilers for Venom 3)

What happened to Anne, Dan, and Toxin edition.

After Toxin rejected Pat Mulligan as a host he drips down from the cathedral and ends up in Anne.

This goes unnoticed by Anne and Dan, both from the adrenaline of her recent kidnapping by Carnage and co. and because it's raining so hard.

As a result Anne also ends up getting shunted off to another universe temporarily at the same time Venom and Eddie have their weird tequila trip to the mcu.

This happens in front of Dan.

They were happy, they were just about to get married and suddenly there's this flash of golden light, (traumatizing) red tentacles everywhere as Toxin comes out to defend his host and that's the last Dan sees of her, she disappeared without a trace.

That is until they meet again, both very changed.

When Anne returns she's perfectly bonded with Toxin.

Think Alternative Anne but with Toxin--red and blue-black color scheme:

They had to step up and fill the role as part of that universe's team of Avengers, defending the people there from the monster invasion of the week.

Anne in her wedding dress teleported into the middle of monster chaos. Toxin taking over to protect them both. Her wedding dress is shredded. She can't find Dan anywhere. This was supposed to be her big day.

Meanwhile back in the Venom universe Dan snaps after losing Anne--aliens ruined his life again.

Dan was then exploited in his desperation and grief by the Area 51...2 (whatever they're calling themselves now) and now heads Imperium and is in charge of all the unethical experiments there. It's all out of the desire to find out what happened to Anne and get her back. (And also punish the aliens who he believes took her.)

Can they get back to who they were before?

Anne still loves and cares for Dan dearly. She also has come to rely on and care for Toxin during their trial by fire in the other universe.

She'd also be shocked and appalled by the crowd Eddie is now running with. As he adopted or rather has been adopted by Cletus, Frances, and Carnage during his depression spiral, they helped him get Venom back, and he never really thought about asking them to leave.

Eddie insists its not like that, he swears, they're pretty chill now most of the time now that they aren't trying to kill them anymore. But Anne, who was kidnapped by them, isn't likely to be so forgiving.

So what does Anne do? Does she choose between them, choose all of them, or decide Toxin is more reliable than either of them?

(Headcanon based on Dr Dan and the shadowy Imperium CEO being played by the same actor and what would it take to push nice guy Dan over the edge...)

How would the reunion go?

Dan: I run the alien gulag now because I've decided all aliens are evil.

Anne: This is Toxin, I wouldn't have survived without him.

Dan: Well, this is awkward.

Also, unrelated to the romance plot, Anne--fought so hard to return to her (normal) life.

Returns to normal life and its now unbearably dull. But at least Toxin provides a running commentary.

Yes, she could let Toxin bite that smug bastard's head off at work but that won't win this court case.

(Would Daredevil or She-hulk exist in this universe or would they have been rounded up by Ravencroft?)

Perhaps she might run into Daredevil (a power set that could fly under the radar)--in any case it's a matter of time before there's drama at work...

Realizing that Dr. Dan Lewis gets to be that role of rival-turned-ally in the narrative of the Venom movies in the place of Peter Parker.

And now I'm imagining an AU where Dan is the Venom-universe's version of Spider-man but he's like completely unaware of this.

Like he got bitten by the super-spider as a teenager but instead of like doing nothing and hoping for the best he goes to the hospital and has the bite treated, and moved on with his life--the experience convincing him to become a doctor.

He never had an occasion to try and climb a building or leap out of the way of a moving car...

He sometimes gets weird headaches though when in dangerous situations but he attributes them to stress.

He can easily lift a grown man (like in the deleted scene where he carries Eddie out of the lobster tank) but he pays it no mind.

But after universe-hopping, Eddie and Venom are realizing some things and unfortunately so are some of "Spider-man's" enemies...

Eddie, to Dan: Hey, that's a cute outfit. You know where it would look better? On nobody else, because you're a beautiful individual.

Cletus, to Eddie: Be my friend or I will set your entire family on fire.
