But for real though, the level of vitriol directed toward the kid just because he doesn't act the way *certain* people want, and they've completely mischaracterized him to the point that they now just want him to revert back to a time (and emotional state) where he felt lonely (s1) and depressed (s2) because he was, what, more engaging? softer? a little more selfless, like he hasn't been through hell and back several times over and deserves 5 minutes of happiness and a chance to calm down because he's a textbook bottled-up bundle of nerves and feelings? .......................... brain damage. I'll defend that twerp until I die because I genuinely don't think I've ever related to a character so much; it feels personal 😂
