oh wow! that's a blast from the past. (I tend to forget we're both 10 years older.) I'll never forget the picnic in the middle of a decanting lake full of ash from the Semtex™ factory. What a surreal, wonderful life. *bear hug emoji from skype*
and might as well catch up with other correspondence:
I have not, but I'll look it up later, thanks! I don't have much space/time for podcasts, and I do have a few self-hosted apps, but in the end - I mean in extreme "national security" situations, if someone wants to persecute you, they'll still raid your server wherever it might be. (Not that it would be very likely, but yk.) Still, will check it out. Screw the cloud.
Surprise Dubya on my dashboard? It's more likely than I'd like, 22 years later the nightmare doesn't end
I wish! I genuinely don't know why I'm so averse to traveling in the past 3 years. I know I have friends who can cat-sit but. IDK. I know I would really feel better to change the pace and scenery, but I think I still haven't fully recovered from the pandemic isolation mode. We'll see - I still have a bunch of western europe to explore, and the other half of Balkans.
^ that was about follower count on my main blog vs @estonian-is-horrible - I mean, I'm happy for the side blog! I never tried hoarding followers on either - here I just got followers because I've been here 11-12 years, and for a while I've been tagging a lot of both my film photos and reblogs; the nice surprise about e.i.h. is that I had notifications off for a few years so it kinda snuck up on me as the follow count jumped from like 70 to 400. Almost makes me want to learn estonian so I could complain about it more!
thanks everyone for the interactions, love you all! hope your weekend is blessed in one way or another
