Favorite instrument: Piano, I guess? Something lovely and romantic to it.

Dream Job: Probably some sort of creative (fashion design, stylist, interior design, etc.) But my day job in finance/data is pretty dope too.
Aesthetic: Pandemic aside I think I’m drawn to conservative, classic cuts and feminine shapes. Definitely a Manhattanite in style, lots of business casual with an edge or cool finish. But I’ve always been pretty adventurous when it comes to dressing. Also a big sucker for a 1920s aesthetic -- I threw a party right before the pandemic ruined this year.

Anne Shirley is one of my favorite characters in all #literature! I've never felt so at home in a book or with a character. It's a rare thing to find, and I am of the firm belief that it must be cherished. @novellyyours has made some exquisite Anne candles for me. I am currently burning the #annespelledwithane and it is divine. It smells of meadows and roses and wildberries and is so exactly Anne! Also, I've recently added to my book collection with the beautiful new editions of the first three books from @viragopress. Confession: I've never read the Anne of Green Gables series. LOVE the movies, but the books always frightened me for reasons unknown. Perhaps their popularity? I was afraid of not liking them as much as the movie and thus labeling myself an intellectual bore? Which is untrue, but I like the turn of phrase. But I digress... I just read your response about the HOO rewrite and honestly I agree with literally everything and I wish the fandom could just rewrite HOO, like just start it from scratch and make it better....we deserve a better ending (except it's not an ending bc there's a new series coming out? but still)
what annoys me is HoO started out so promising, but the subplots got too convoluted and overtook the dragging main plot, character threads were left unresolved because there were just too many of them, and it all just fell apart in BoO.
i’m hoping some of the plot holes get filled in ToA but honestly HoO should have been able to stand on its own, people shouldn’t have to read a whole separate sequel series to be able to get closure. (just like fans shouldn’t have had to read a short story to follow the Bob plot line in HoH, but that’s another argument entirely.)

I’ve heard of it and seen a few clips on Youtube! It seems pretty cute, but I really have no idea if it’s at all true to the books or not. But if you have the opportunity and the money to spare, you might as well see it! :) I think it’d be fun!
to the anon not having the greatest first semester- I'm sorry that you are not enjoying yourself. I truly understand the difficulty of adjusting to a new environment and making new friends, being a first-year myself. My advice: just go to things. Making conversation and meeting people is hard but take advantage of any opportunity you can. some of the nerdy things i went to like a poetry slam and a cell bio lecture were places where i made my best friends. msg me if u want to talk!
