Plot Bunnies: Anneliese “Annie” Hutter
“Does evil come from within us, or from beyond?” - Ellen Hutter, Nosferatu (2024)
Anneliese was born in September of 1839, nine months after a plague found itself upon Wisburg, Germany. She was a peculiar child, to say the very least. She was able to predict things that were to bound happen and could hear the heartbeats of those around her; she could also hear her parents whispering late in the night, concerned for her and her peculiarities.
Upon her thirteenth birthday, her eyeteeth turned razor sharp and her nails became ever so slightly pointed. Perturbed by these changes, Anneliese went to her parents, only to be told a grave truth.
She was not exactly human but not exactly a creature of the night- born to her mother after an encounter with what could only be described as a demon, a vampyr.
It was only when Anneliese reached the age of twenty and had not changed physically since the age of sixteen that her parents decided to move to America to avoid questions about the growing speculation of the odd Hutter girl.
There, Anneliese outlived her parents, never aging. Wandering from place to place through the ages, she began to have more vivid premonitions. They haunted her nights, dreams of red eyes and gnashing teeth.
Using her resources, she called upon a knower of the occult for guidance, who directed her to go West in the year 2011- to a town called Beacon Hills.
“There,” he said, “you will find what you are looking for.”
Going by the name “Annie”, she finds a whole new world- along with companionship she only ever dreamt of.
