does anyone else find it kinda misogynistic that rtd took belinda, a character who valued her autonomy and told off the doctor for scanning her body without her consent, and essentially gave her a child that she didn't even have to begin with? she broke up with an incel purely so that she would be able to keep her own agency and live her own life, and in the end, she didn't even get her own life back. her life will never be her own life again because motherhood changes a person. it revolves around her daughter now.

One scene I’ve been looking forward to from the trailer was Karadec saying to Morgan “you already know who did it don’t you” and that scene did not let me down, especially when you put it in the context of the “I know your silences, Morgan” scene

He knew as soon as she went quiet that she’d cracked it, and the way she smiled wide once he said that… yeah I need sedating I can’t lie

Also somewhat vindicates me and my own personal thoughts in how wagner was in the room for that convo yet she paid him zero attention and it was a moment between Morgan and Karadec because they’re the ones who will be endgame hehehe

Decided I’m gonna try running a marathon this year since it’s been my ultimate fitness and running goal for a while. I’ve set my sights on doing the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon because it’s both a meaningful race for a cause I support and the closest marathon to me. I’m gonna see if any of my other runner friends want to do it with me. I’ll have to be careful until my podiatry appointment in July when I should be able to get custom insoles/supports made to help with my flat feet. But I really think I can be ready in time for that race in mid-October if I start training now.

Starting to spite write this fake dating AU fic that I thought up after two separate people on Twitter said the idea of them was 'horrifying'. Not only will I give them horrifying, I might even dedicate it to them in the author's notes because I'm that level of petty. :P

Of course, this is all assuming I can stay motivated to write enough to get a decent chunk of this before I start posting (hence why I've yet to actually post a fic instead of just plot bunnies - I have a hard time staying motivated with writing).

I feel like the show watered down Billy’s love for Camila bc they wanted to be sure the fans would be rooting for Billy/Daisy. In the book, Billy is deeply flawed, but there’s no doubt that he worships his wife. From the moment they met, he’s head over heels for her. Every song he writes is for her. He lashes out in self-sabotaging terror when she gets pregnant bc he doesn’t want to be his father, not bc he doesn’t love Camila. They have more kids bc he loves Camila, and Julia, and their family. He grows to love being a dad. He promises over and over and fights over and over to create a better future for them. He gets and stays sober for them. Billy doesn’t stay with Camila out of some obligation because she’s his wife and mother of his child. He stays because she’s Camila. The same reason he loves Daisy for being Daisy.
