"My experience with being a volunteer in this community has been wonderful, its been really fun when especially i got to help with drawing designs for really cool voices or for the voices of my friends. That going forward i really hope to see more new artists join and such! I think fresh meat is always needed

"Welcome to today's Anniversary Interview. Today's guest in the pink seat is @cracked-frog ! Another one of our lovely volunteers AND Winner of our first Cold tournament! Let's hear what they got to say!"

"When the first tourney was starting I was very new to the fandom itself and scrambled to finish up my Cold to submit him, I was so scared because I'm normally hiding in the shadows, don't poke my head out too much.

And I'm so glad I did it, experiencing something like this was so emotional for me, competing with people I thought were far above me and actually winning, it felt so weird, so wrong. But also so heartwarming.

Every tourney of course had it's flaws but during the first one I was definitely blinded by everything I was experiencing lol

What matters for me is we continue to get better, now as a team, and make it more fair for everyone involved

One of my favourite things is definitely all the fanart, I cherish every drawing I got, it's a permanent reminder of just how wonderful these events are, giving everyone some spotlight, even the audience in some cases.

Thank you for showing me support through all this, every contestant, every fan and of course the staff

(And I promise not to disappoint in the next tourney 🩵) "
