So I’ve been sitting on the fence about this for a while now, given my overall experience since my time here in 2015. And I think the last straw has been broken with my artwork from my old account being hidden from public view - artwork which is pg 13 as I don’t really like to go further than being suggestive, of which is more apparent in my writing!
I was considering trying to get my old account back given that the 2FA wouldn’t work as intended. Granted it took me a while to remember that I enabled it, given how infrequently I visit the site as time has passed, but it’s been nothing but a hassle for me each time something goes wrong.
Now there’s a handful of people that I follow here, particularly as they left dA, however I’ve more or less reached the end of my tether. Any support in regards to appealing my work will be the deciding factor on whether I will continue to occasionally post my work here of if I will leave for good.
I’m at the point where I’m now afraid to even post my recent artwork because it’s going to get shot through a beta filter. And if things such as fan art and my ocs are going to get blocked, then who’s to say the filter won’t mistake a bopping animation for something more vulgar? For example, my latest drawing of Mystic duchess could be incorrectly flagged due to her staff and the angle at which it’s being held - however there is nothing infringing about the drawing whatsoever.
And this is something that could be widespread if Article 13 gets green lights across the board. A machine deciding what’s infringing and what’s not - and if it can’t tell - block it anyway. It’s nice to be safe than sorry but when it’s at the expense of other people and their livelihood or what keeps them going...
At this present moment in time, if you do wish to see my works, please check them out on my other social media accounts such as twitter, discord and dA. I would also like to take a moment to thank you all for taking interest in myself and/or my work and any support you’ve sent my way, regardless of the outcome. Keep doing you!
