I just love thinking that Psy just accidentally saw Intern with his maw open when on low sanity, accepted it as a hallucination and Intern just thought that the other was cool with that. Made him relax around him. And then Psy just freaking out when Intern randomly fully yawned for the first time near him on a duo shift.

Au where Neil is literally a cryptid

Neil becomes the Foxes resident monster. Like Matt wakes up and goes to get a cup of coffee and Neil is just. Sitting. In the living room. And this is a normal occurrence no one minds (except maybe Aaron since Neil has intentionally jumpscared him)

Andrew uses him as a cooling pad in the summer because he doesn't have actual blood circulation, and in the winter Neil shifts back occasionally to become a big furry pillow (with claws and teeth but Andrew doesn't mind. It's 2026 why doesn't your pillow have claws and teeth.)

He's mostly 'docile' in the sense that he doesn't attack anyone physically (he's had close calls, Andrew is told to "call off his monster" instead of Neil like in the original series)
