please explain to your followers the exact sequence of events between red light green light and grian getting hired at the institute because (1) it's funny and (2) they will maybe stop being confused when the supplementals joke about him just barely avoiding becoming a convicted murderer
thank u I love u
-z
(I got the letter right this time)
yeah! it goes roughly like this-
1. as a direct result of the events of red light green light grian finds himself plagued by severe violent intrusive thoughts of supernatural origin
2. having to constantly focus on reasoning himself out of straight up murdering his friends and anyone else around him does not leave a lot of energy or focus for anything else and he drops out of university a few weeks later
3. around this point he also comes into the institute and gives the statement on mumbo’s suggestion, since mumbo is already working at the institute in research at this point
4. after moving out of where he was staying at school, starts staying with mumbo in what is supposed to be a short term arrangement and then just does not leave
5. spends the next couple years abjectly incapable of holding any job for longer than a month due to the aforementioned reasons, right up until several months before the story starts, when mumbo, who really really just wants him off his couch at this point, invites him to come to the void institute with him and ask about any open assistant positions
6. hired on the spot. nothing shady about that at all. and hey wow, the intrusive thoughts are like, notably less bad, though still present. he actually manages to stay employed! holy shit
7. shortly before the start of the story, etho, the head archivist, goes missing, and xisuma asks grian if he wants the job. and then the story starts!
So I just did a massive read through of your Convict Childcare and I have a few questions. 1: What's Michael and Punz's relationship? I'd assume he'd be able to glean that Dream trusts Punz and therefore he trusts him, but how those Punz feel about it? 2: How exactly did Sam end up accidentally killing Ranboo. Techno happened to be looking at the prison when Sam took him, so I'd imagine it happened inside the walls but exactly how? 3: What's the list of who thinks Sam killed on his own and who thinks Dream forced Sam too?
- Anon Z
Ahh, Michael and c!Punz!
It takes awhile for the two of them to met. c!Punz is wary about accidentally exposing c!Dream to any danger, and c!Techno is extremely protective over Dream (and still believes that Punz betrayed Dream, hence no longer being trustworthy). But eventually, once Punz is able to met up with Dream, he gets introduced to Michael quickly.
Michael is able to pick up on Punz being a safe person from Dream, and he just thinks Punz is neat! Punz is surprised at first, but once he hears about what happened, he's like 'yeah, that tracks'. Punz knows Dream well after all, knows how deeply he cares about people and how much he would give to keep them safe. Likewise, Punz takes to Michael easily, and thinks the kid is fun. He'd absolutely throw down to protect the child, and becomes way more obvious about his allegiance being with Dream & the Syndicate.
Since Techno still doesn't trust Punz for awhile, and that gets confusing for Michael. Dream obviously trusts and feels comfortable with Punz, but Techno doesn't? Michael isn't sure what to make of that, but ultimately goes with trusting Dream. He also thinks Punz is a lot of fun, and that helps a lot.
As for c!Sam, well. Honestly, it'd probably be something stupid. c!Ranboo moved weirdly and c!Sam wasn't thinking and reacted with his axe. Ranboo had no armor on, and Sam happened to get a crit. Then the death just happened to be canon. It wasn't intentional. It was utter carelessness.
I've broken down the list before, but very roughly, you've got:
Syndicate, c!Ponk, c!Punz, c!Foolish, and c!Tubbo in the firm camp of "c!Sam kidnapped c!Dream and Michael, and he killed c!Ranboo of his own free will."
c!Bad, and c!Antfrost are in the place of "We were literally prison guards and saw c!Dream's conditions. There's absolutely no chance he had the mental or physical capacity to kidnap anyone or force Sam to do anything. Neither of us want to think the worst of Sam, but like, it sure as hell wasn't Dream."
c!Quackity knows it was Sam, but he's lying and convinced most of the rest of the server that Dream kidnapped Sam/Michael and needs to be recaptured.
There's a handful of people such as c!Michael or c!Tina who don't really believe Quackity, but stay out of things for the most part.
c!Purpled doesn't really care about any of this, other then absolutely fucking Quackity over whenever he gets the chance. So he does help the Syndicate every so often, but it's very much so just because he wants to cause problems. Like when he and c!Tubbo blow up Las Nevadas
Happy Birthday Z!
What do you think of the new person btw?-z
Avery? I think they’re alright. I hate that they seem to be so self-deprecating, but I can’t fault them for it. I don’t know their past - it likely isn’t too good if they’re here in the first place.
the people need to know. could you take a big bite out of jevin and be fine. is he edible. his leitner was a cookbook he's gotta be edible

i mean you probably Could but he would taste like raw human meat so i don’t know why you would
statement givers of your currently posted statements ranked by how likely they each would be to try pushing archivist grian off a bridge, go
(you know, if you want to)
-z
i did this list in a note on my phone labeled ‘likeliness to make bird fly’. most to least likely:
False
Zedaph
Cleo
Stress
Ivory
Scott
Lizzie
Shrub
Joe
false would absolutely kick grian off a bridge without hesitation and she would be right to. cleo and stress are both only as low as they are because they would probably prefer their victims stay mostly physically intact for their own purposes and not get too broken. zedaph would be absolutely non-malicious about it but he WOULD take notes. joe would not push anybody off a bridge but he would watch cleo do it and critique her form.
i didn’t include boatem gang because it was hard to judge them in relation to people who do not work with grian directly however i think their likelihood to push him off a bridge relative to each other is as follows:
Pearl
Scar
Mumbo
Impulse
anon I'm SURE you'll get your fwhip statement I'm actively informing our lovely author that being named fail whip is exactly the same amount of ridiculous as being named stress monster and she should not hesitate
