Are there any other magic plants that exist, aside from echo flowers?
yessss there's so many!!
So the first I ever talked about here are fire flowers. They're a small subspecies of echo flowers that came from Underfell, Outerfell, and Outertale. There were originally some in Horrortale but they all died out unfortunately.
Anyways. Fire Flowers. As previously stated are a slightly smaller sub species of echo flower that usually come in various shades of red, and warmer tones of orange and brown. Rarely, you can find some in white, however it's harder to find them without a breeder.
Regardless of the color, all of them have black spots dotted along the petals. They're named after their ability to emit very small bursts of ember if they're healthy. They're also slightly warm to the touch, and similar to their cousins can mimic noise. Unlike echo flowers though, they can't mimic exact speech or noises, and instead kind of sound like jumbled humming.
They cannot be consumed by monsters or humans raw and are very poisonous if done so. However, if they are slow cooked for long periods of time they are capable of being edible, and are a popular ingredient in tea drunk by fell and horror monsters. They smell deeply of burned wood and charcoal.
For now, I have one other subspecies of echo flower! They're called Melody Jammers!
A little bit on the larger side, melody jammers come from all the dancetale au's! They only come in two different colors. A light baby blue, and a warm butter yellow. They look pretty identical to your standard echo flower, just bigger. A good way to identify them would be the small white ring around the middle of the flower.
They can Mimic limited speech but can't process as much as your regular Echo flower. They really shine where they get their name; giving sweet little songs! They're honestly cute little flowers, humming sweet Melodys, and occasionally giving a unique song for whatever sentence they'd just been given. They're a popular flower for younger kids and older monsters, due to their music, light colors, and the fact that on occasion, they sometimes wiggle and dance to music.
They are edible, but they don't have a very strong taste. They make for a pretty mild tea, but if one that is exceptionally healthy is made, they have a very very mild sweet taste. They're usually used in tea and soup, and are a favorite snack to animals. They have a faint, sweet smell.
Cratercups are small flowers that are from the outertale au's, and in comparison look the most like real life buttercup flowers.
There isn't too much to say about them. Crater flowers come in a few different colors. Blue, purple, and black. The brown outside of the petals and stems are rather hard, kind of like space rocks. They appear to have small indents on the outside of the petals, and small rings on the inside, resembling craters, hence the name.
What most people love about them, is the fact that their Anthers are star shaped, and emit a small glow. Most humans compare them to the Japanese star candy Konpeitō.
They are very pretty, but don't have much of a use other than that. They don't taste very good, are hard to harvest, and are hard to dry press and wear because of the hard petals. Despite this, outertale monsters adore them, and have a similar story about how they make your face glow like how we do with buttercups.
Usually instead of picking them, people will remove the Anthers and turn them into various jewelry or keep them in jars.
That's all I have for now, but if I ever make more, they'll be here :-)
