Do you have any tips for making a mutant blood? I have a cool idea but I don’t want to be cliche

[I think the biggest tip is if they have mutant blood that they don’t flaunt it. If they have red blood like karkat, how about they pretend to be a burgundy blood? Basically, find a canon blood color that’s close to the mutant blood color and have the troll pretend to be in that caste. You can also go for the classic grey schema that karkat had too, since surprisingly from what i’ve seen it doesn’t show up much for fantrolls. Maybe if they have a moirail they wear a lot of their moirail’s blood color to everyone thinks they have that blood color when they don’t.]
