Paint the halls up like a pupa’s first Carnival, and so long as she got out without nary a speck of paint on her hide, Queenpin wouldn’t have a single thing to say.

Hello! :D Do you need extensive outfit references for the 12th perigee ball commissions, or would it be okay to provide a sketch and let you have freedom with the rest, provided that I don't have specific ideas I want you to draw that I'm not providing refs for? Bc I'd love to commission one of those, I just only have a simple drawing for the ball outfit itself.

It’s alright if you don’t have extensive references, i just need something to have an idea of where to go. A simple sketch and a theme/style (ie: swans/polkadots/etc or three piece suit/sari/etc) will work fine, and I can gather references going off of that!

Uh. Hm.Well, I have no idea who Daginy is so impale Daginy. I’m not sure why you would suggest two people I know and one I don’t and not expect me to kill the third.Riccin and I have already been fooling around, so pail Riccin.

Honestly, I’m just fucking SAD because Mercy was good and fun to play for the first time since literal beta testing of this game and they decided the solution was to nerf her into the ground harder than the first iteration of Widowmaker - but when ANA was a must pick like Mercy is now, they did nothing. Idk, I was excited for the first time in a while and now I’m just discouraged.

They nerfed Ana as well, in fact they’re nerfing all of the healer classes. The only one whose gotten a buff is Zenyatta and that was only to his own attacks. They’re slowly reducing every healers ability to heal in preference to basically become shitty dps. Because lets face it, even if you slightly boost a healers damage, they’re still a healer, but now your reducing their healing so basically they can do everything to such a small degree whats even the fucking point.

The changed Mercy to have Valkyrie because DPS were complaining that her resurrection could completely undo their ults (surprise, that’s the point of resurrection and mercy’s entire gimmick) and Jeff Kaplin said he wanted Mercy mains to “stop hiding out” when every reaper and mcCree south of the north pole hide out before their ults as well. So resurrection was removed and we got valkyrie and now DPS is complaining because all those Mercy mains adapted and are, shocker, resing even more people with this new restriction.

And it’s no good when the DPS are upset is it because they’re the only class I’ve seen that routinely message people about how they’re doing a shit job as healer and then turn around and bitch that the healers are “too necessary”.

Hello! You recently reblogged a Hercules beetle pupa and I was wondering if you would be able / inclined to maybe explain why a part of it moves in circles like that?

Sure! I don’t know if you were a kid like me who enjoyed unearthing moth pupa and harassing them so that they wiggled (like this), but it’s the same principal. Basically, it’s a last-ditch defense mechanism to try and deter predators who may be startled when that tasty-smelling brown thing starts squirming.

One of the most extreme examples of this is the daring owl-butterfly (already a cool name), which not only squirms, but creates a pupa that looks remarkably like the head of a venomous snake.
