I often think about some Anon hate mail I got a while back telling me that I was disgusting for thinking that David Bowie is an attractive older man (like do you have working eyeballs inside your skull?) and that I should stay out of the David Bowie tag with my weird older man crushes- like from the things that they were saying I assume that they were a fan but liiiike.... I love Bob Dylan with all my heart and soul, do I think he's attractive? No. But if I knew someone who also loved Bob Dylan and they were like "oh I love that Bob Dylan I love his music Plus he's super cute he rocks my world!" I wouldn't shame them. Like this person said some terrible stuff to me all because I'm in my early twenties and David Bowie was in his 60s???? David Bowie is a musical God, a genius, and he's been supremely attractive his entire life and I'm not sorry about it. :)))))

Celebrating Hate Mail

Today I am celebrating a momentous occasion: my first piece of hate mail!

It was an anonymous review on fanfiction.net on the first chapter of my story Hydra Heist. It was one word, crap, but the not nice word for it. Since I have a strict no cursing policy, sadly I had to delete that glowing review.

But hey, someone read it! They were bothered enough to be my first reviewer. Take that! I’m flattered that someone took the time to anonymously leave a one word response to share their displeasure. Maybe next time they can be more specific about why my story is crap. I’d welcome it! I shall rejoice as I join the tribe of those who have received anon hate.

My first inbox message was an angry anon. I still don’t know what I posted to prompt such vengeance towards me but it was around the Election™️ so maybe I hated Trump too much lol

And another thing to follow up on my latest little anonymous hate mail rant. I don't acknowledge it anymore when I receive anonymous hate mail. Sorry, haters. But I am not giving you the privilege or even the personal satisfaction of having your chicken-shit tantrum addressed anymore.

Rant

So apparently lisannassass is getting anonymous hate mail because of what she ships. Believe me, I have been there. Hell, I still get hate mail stemming from a shitstorm back in February and a ridiculous PSA made about me. But I digress. Here's how I view anonymous hate mail. There is just something about the anonymity of the internet that magically turns even the whiniest most sniveling coward into a "hero" (and I use that term very VERY loosely) with the balls to say whatever they want. But the fact that a person is so cowardly that they have to hide behind anonymity just to lash out and berate a person over something as silly as a ship from an anime just screams that... A. That person is insecure in themselves. B. That person clearly doesn't truly believe or stand behind what they say if they can't even reveal themselves. How can anyone take anything a grey circle with eyes sais seriously? It's like if a person calls a company to complain and bitch about something but doesn't want to leave their name. That means what they have to say isn't as important to them as they claim. C. That person obviously doesn't have much going on in their lives if THAT is their biggest concern. So you know what, lisannassass? Ship whatever the hell you want and RP however you want. Nobody can ever tell you what to do or how to RP or what ships to support. Keep on doing your thing, mate. If there is one thing my hero CM Punk has taught me is that you always march to the beat of your own drum. Don't take shit from anyone, don't ever let anyone tell you what to think, what to feel, what to believe. I hope you read this and I hope it encourages you even a little.

Supernatural fuelled rant

Hi guys, guess who’s back after locking herself out of her account for a few months! Sorry to come back in on an angry note but this has to be said and it has to be done now.

I’m completely disgusted by what’s been happening to my fellow members of the Supernatural fandom, it’s sick and no one deserves to be treated that way. Tumblr staff SHOULD be investigating these anonymous hate mails with the IP addresses left by the senders in the site’s coding. But besides that, the ultimate act of immaturity that is hate mail shouldn’t happen in the first place. As a preventory measure I do think asks should be filtered and offensive/profane words should be removed. To anyone and everyone that has been affected by this event that has caused grief within the Supernatural fandom, my heart goes out to you all. I would like to say that you should never, EVER listen to anyone who tells you to harm or kill yourself because each and every one of you is worth so much more than that. And I’m sorry but if the sender of the hate mail doesn’t even have the balls to come off of anonymous and say it to your face that they have a problem with you then that’s even more of a reason to ignore it. I’ve never let these things affect me, luckily not that I’ve had it happen to me, but I’d personally be laughing in the little cowards’ faces because some people have some SERIOUS growing up to do.

The only reason I keep pushing for it is because I’m starting to have more and more flashbacks of being molested. and it just so happens that my daughter is getting closer to the age of when it happened to me and I’ve been noticing that I’m becoming more protective and clingy with her and in a way that’s good but it can be bad too. I don’t want to put my own issues on her because I haven’t dealt with it yet. That’s not fair to her.
