I have stopped chasing. Stopped becoming anxious over you. And for the first time in a long while, I feel solid in myself.
It is now time to reclaim old mannerisms and habits that I changed when I got to know you.
You were not a bad person. But we have grown distant, and in our friendship I harmed myself in the things I did. I let you too close, mean too much of me, changed too much of myself.
This is not your fault. It would be terrible of me to blame you for things out of control.
Thank you for being a friend to me. I’m sad we’ve grown apart, but that’s life I guess.
It is time to reclaim myself and Surge, for the only person I will share my soul with is him, and we are separate but one at the same time.
And it will be this way unless someone proved themself worthy of having my love. But nobody ever will. And that is how I want it to be.
