A few days ago I watched Oppenheimer with my friend without knowing what the movie was about.

The first memorable scene for me was, actually, when Dr. Lawrence was shown at the screen. There's just something in him that made him look very attractive.

But overall the movie was great. For someone who didn't know much about the subject before, it kept me awake and focused on the plot.

Today in my improv class we were doing this game where people put random quotes in the chat, and the actors chad to use the suggestions as their only dialogue, and I put in “the apotheosis is upon us” and I saw some on-camera guy smile, and then the next round he put “think about the implications” so long story short we spent the rest of the time quoting starkid at each other without anyone else knowing.

So in my slow peruse through Broadway Musicals, I have now come to Heathers.

Heard the soundtrack a bunch and loved it. Saw the original movie first to see how the musical adapted it. When I told my mom about watching the movie, she kept talking about how Christian Slater was so hot, and I’m just like, huh, I don’t see the appeal. Then the guy that sleeps on the couch starts talking about how no one thought about how hot Winona Ryder was when the movie came out. Me the useless pan is like, no I fucking love her, she’s so beautiful, but I did not get the interest in Christian Slater. 

Then I just watched the musical and damn, it’s good. Probably one of my favorites right now

this bit from this trevor noah interview (plus one earlier where he said language is the easiest way to connect with people) where he talks abt language, that’s p much how sonic sees it and why he likes learning abt them, besides the fact that he’s just naturally the type to have an easier time with them (like people who naturally grasp math concepts easier).
