So.......

I have been working on a project where I’m updating strings (only) to have my game “sound” more old-timey and brainstorming some medieval traits for my simmies.  For instance:

I replaced the “take bath” interaction with “draw a bath”. It literally does nothing except change the verbiage, but it makes me happy. If this is something you’d be interested let me know and I’ll share. I’m trying to make changes a little at a time and am not doing everything, obviously. One thing I’d like to change is “woohoo” but i’m trying to figure out what sounds feasible, medieval-ish and not crass lol :)

I have updated a few common strings so far: 1) replaced Feed Bottle interaction with Feed through Cowhorn/Chamois ( if you don’t know what the heck a chamois is like me, here’s where I got it from https://www.contemporarypediatrics.com/view/concise-history-infant-formula-twists-and-turns-included) 2) Brush teeth is Brush teeth with mint and twig.

Bath important parts quickly replaces Take a Quick and Tepid Bath LOL 

I am clearly not a modder, but I really enjoy immersive gameplay.  For example, wet nurses were a thing and the whole birth experience for upper-middle class women was very ritualistic so I’m working on a royal midwife trait (snips below) that will essentially nag and helicopter the preggo sim and can accompany the sim during home birth. SuperDuperPooper Important: I’m not trying to overhaul the childbirth mod because it’s already amazing! Go do yourself a favor and download ALL of Ingeli’s wonderful cc; I’m playing with the Royalty Mod by LlazyNieph and admittedly haven’t really experienced all of the wonderful perks the mod offers. I am so looking forward to continuing to play with it and highly recommend!

Again, not a modder, don’t have a patreon, don’t know what the heck I’m doing really but thought I’d share in case there’s already something like this on the granular level and/or there are others you all know of! I’m just HAVING FUN, y’all !!!! :)
