ugh after work i went to the notary who of c o u r s e asked my why i was changing my name and like i’ve prepped for some reasoning to give A JUDGE but i didn’t really want to go into it with ernest from the bank so i was like, uh, well i have had a fraught relationship with my family and this was the name i chose years ago when i distanced myself from them (which w/e, is as accurate as he’s going to get) and he was just like ‘REALLY distanced!! not much further away you could GET with this!” and like he was nice and all but i was ????????? ye ah well it’s the name all my friends/loved ones/coworkers know me by regardless so now i’m just making it legal... haha.....

but whatever!!!!! but so then in my frazzled state i was like, well i already fucked up a social interaction, the courthouse is open for another half hour, let’s go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why

like the idea i think i told myself was just to like, see where it was. but then i kept walking up the stairs and into the building and passed security (”do you know where you’re going?” “honestly i’m just wandering around lost” GDI ME) and handed a pile of papers to a woman and was like, here is what i’m trying to do and everything i have, hel p (only more rambling and incoherent at her, oh god)

and she was like “did you print these off the internet :(” and i said “multiple times.” and she said, ‘here’s the form you’re missing, also i need your birth certificate’, a thing which amidst all the other multiple signed and notarized and copied things I DIDNT BRING

so i guess i’ll go back monday before work and that was so much people and having to ask them to help me do A THING WHICH IS MASSIVELY IMPORTANT TO ME that i want to throw up, hi, love you, kiss face emoji

I'm so sorry! it absolutely would never have occurred to me that somebody not enjoying the episode would be upsetting to the person making gifs of it - I have deleted my reblog of your gifset, I really did not mean to cause offence at all. there's a difference to me between 'this gifset is bad' (a thing I would never reblog something & say) & 'like this gifset but this episode was bad' (which I thought would be okay) but totally legit that you disagree - really sorry for upsetting you.

Glyndebourne Carmelites was Not Worth It btw (I was so sick I couldn't sit through the second half & partly that was just through being Unwell but partly it was spending the first half waiting second by dragging, wretched second for the interval to arrive). u did not miss anything is my point

but I'd love to judge for myself! sorry you didn't have a good time though, never fun
