Brant finally tasting Aalto's blood when the man gave in and him just... being in pure bliss and pleasure to the point he loses his self control and got greedy. He drinks more and more, ignoring Aalto's words and struggles -- keeping his "love" in his arms tightly so he won't - CAN'T - escape.

The only thing that got him to snap back to reality is when Aalto got aggressive and actually physically harmed him. He blinks and then sees the pool of blood that coated Aalto's neck, seeing his "love" pale and dizzy. He panics, thinking Aalto will die so he rushes to anyone he knows that could help, mouth still bloody and blood dripping down on the ground creating trails.
