Had to rescue two small frens today from the swimming pool. Silly toads
Is axolot isolation a thing?
So Im just curious I have 6 Axolotls total and all of them are usually together and huddled and such. Except one she's a female and seems to be always on the other side of the tank by herself. Im not sure why? Any ideas? Shes completely healthy good size and weight and all that. Just a loner?
Mouth man took the biggest sh*t sat in it, smeared it all over his tank, and just looked at me. @fourteen--steps did a lovely rendition of mouth man’s thought process. His art is crap.
Hello this is gonna be an odd post
My mom bought some lettuce and a tiny lil clown tree frog(thats what i think he is anyway) was in it and got soaked into bleach water(its how we wash out veggies) he quickly jumped out and i caught him with a jar. I quickly put some clean water on it and he just chilled in it for a few seconds and then climbed up the glass wall of the jar and stayed there. I made a little makeshift enclousure for him.
Basically i need help with keeping him alive untill i find a place to set him on. I grabbed a plastic box, cleaned it, put some paper towels and sprayed them with water to humidify them. I put a little dish with water and a leaf and two twigs. He didnt want to leave the bottle so i just put it in there for now. Its been a few hours and hes just in the bottle standing there. I covered the box with plastic film and made some small holes. Is there anything else i can do? Should i re moist the paper towels at some point?
Apparently you need to sell your soul to obtain bumble bee toads, so I am switching gears and turning it into a Tiger Leg Monkey Tree Frog (Phyllomedusa Hypocondrialis) habitat. I am using fake plants until the real ones grow in properly. It looks fantastic so fair. 🐸🌱
