Ginko/Adashino for the ship meme if you're still taking them :))
001 | send me a ship and I will tell you:
when I started shipping it if I did: I’m.. not sure? From the moment Ginko manipulated Adashino into buying the sake cup and the horns I guess, so from their first interaction. X)
my thoughts: I’m used to be really conflicted about this ship because sometimes I’m like Ginko’s clearly aro-ace, and then 5 minutes later all I want is for them to make out. In my head he’s always aro though. But you know, both.. both is good. I like to imagine that Ginko’s a few years younger than Adashino, and that they met when Adashino was in his late teens/early twenty’s. He was all about Ginko from the start and, whether I’m in the mood for ace Ginko or not, he probably did some experimenting when he was younger and didn’t really mind fooling around with Adashino a bit.
What makes me happy about them: they’re nerds and they bicker and they smirk at each other a lot.
What makes me sad about them: too little fanart?
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I like Ginko with any of the returning characters, but Tanyuu and Isaza in particular. I also felt things with the girl who asks him to teach her little brother about mushi and then saves him from freezing to death and she takes care of him while he’s in a sort of mushi coma. But let’s be frank, there’s no ending up with anyone for Ginko.
And Adashino.. idk. I like to think that he insists that Ginko tells him how to contact Tanyuu, even though he dislikes her because Ginko walked out on him to go to her after the eclipse business without telling him anything about his adventures. He’s not so petty to let something like that stand in between him and fascinating information. I’d love to read their correspondence. I can’t see them really ending up together though. I mean, they might start feeling things for, and confess them to each other, but Tanyuu will probably never be fit to travel and Adashino is too attached to his village. If he wasn’t I’m sure he’d have abandoned it to travel with Ginko, if only for a short while. But I can see them together in a modern au though!!
My happily ever after for them: I don’t really.. want? a happily ever after for them? I used to get sad thinking about the fact that Ginko will never settle down and be a husband and father, because he’d be so good at that. But gradually my opinion changed to sometimes sad is good. I can see Ginko sometimes wishing he could just.. stay somewhere a bit longer without causing shit to happen, but he gets over such thoughts soon enough. Oh, well, actually: I want Ginko to die a quick and painless death and Adashino to become the village’s ancient story teller, who grumbles almost non-stop about not getting enough respect in between stories.
who is the big spoon/little spoon: no spooning. Ginko’s not the spooning (or cuddling) type and I think he mostly sleeps on his back anyway.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: reading, studying, strolling, talking..
