the first character i ever fell in love with:It was either Lee or Shikamaru; I honestly don't recall which. Kind of both around the same time, for different reasons. Lee for his indomitable spirit; Shikamaru for being really really relatable.
a character that i used to love/like, but now do not:Ah, there are several ways this could be answered, but ultimately? Naruto. The person he turned out to be somehow does not feel like who the kid he was should have grown into. If that makes sense.
a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not:...hmm. I have less enthusiasm for KakaYama than I did a few years ago? Not really a dislike so much as a very diminished enthusiasm and a firm belief they didn't last much past Yamato's teens.

favorite episode:Read the manga more than I ever watched the anime, but still can't really pin down a favorite chapter or arc even. Uh...I still have a bookmark at Yamato's first appearance, does that count?

favorite season:I'm terrible at picking favorite seasons/arcs/etc with this fandom. The chuunin exam arc and the Gaara retrieval arc are kind of the only bits of the anime that I really remember in any detail, but...eh. The second major arc of Shippuden is...it has meaning bc it introduced Sai Yamato and Danzo, but beyond that it's all kinda bleh. You'd almost think I never actually liked the canon, but that's not really true either.
least favorite season:Honestly, most of the war and everything after. I was really mad about the ANBU arc for reasons when it came out, but there were moments I appreciate and some useful potential in its retconning so I guess I've made peace with it by now.
character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate:Hate is the wrong word entirely, but. Kakashi. Like. My only interest/investment in him is his importance to Gai, and then Yamato to a lesser degree. I don't dislike him per se, but I have no real attachment to him and I go through these periodic phases where I just get so weary of seeing him everywhere in fandom. And yet GaiKaka is still one of my favorite ships and it's very weird sometimes to ship this OTP where my attitude toward one half of it can usually be summed up as '...meh.'
my ‘you’re a piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave:Danzo. Does Danzo count as trash? Pretty sure he's the best answer here. Still a fave, though. Definitely a fave.
my ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’ fave:Oh how do I pick just one. Um. Anko deserves way better than this series ever gave her but at the same time she doesn't exactly fit the cinnamon roll qualifier. Yamato deserves better than growing old babysitting Orochimaru's hideout, for damn sure. Tenten deserves better. Neji absolutely deserved better.
my ‘this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but i still love it’ ship:...Danzo/Sai. I guess. I mean. I don't feel 'nasty' about it but like I'm sure conventional wisdom would urge me to cleanse my soul and I freely acknowledge the general wrongness of it but if it's done in certain ways, I love it.

1. Are you named after someone? Hmm my christian name is Johanna.. after one of my great-grandmas? It's bad but I'm really not sure who. I do know that a mistake happened sometime when my name was registered, because my mum wanted my christian name to be Johanne. (I like Johanna better tbh so lucky me heh)
2. When was the last time you cried? Last weekend it looked like I had to move out within a week and that suddenly made me really stressed and sad. I like my current room so much. I've lived here for 3,5 years and It's pretty huge and light and comfortable and everything I need I can reach within 5 minutes on foot. Also I'm a sentimental dork and get attached real quick so that's not helping. Anyway I found a room I'm going to move into at the end of the month, so I have a bit more time to mentally prepare myself...
3. Do you like your handwriting? Sure, but it often gets a bit too messy for my taste.
4. What is your favorite lunch meat? Lunch meat, like to put on bread? Dunno, I can't say I have a favourite kind of meat? I haven't been eating much lately. When I come home I do often hope for Zeelandic Bacon, now that I think of it.
5. Do you have kids? Nope. I don't consider my dog my baby either, more like my lil bro. It'll probably be different if I get my own pet.
6. If you were another person, would you be friends with you? Er.. I only become friends with people who talk to me first and seeing as I hardly ever start a conversation with others first, I kinda doubt it.
7. Do you use sarcasm? Rarely? Very rarely. People who don’t know me really well tend to take me too seriously, so sarcasm only ever leads to confusion.
8. Do you still have your tonsils? Yes.
9. Would you bungee jump? I don't know. Probably not. Even if someone offered to pay for me. Sometimes I feel like I would say yes though, so I don't know.
10. What is your favorite kind of cereal? Does Cruesli count? I like the one with freeze dried strawberries and yoghurt flakes. And the one with nuts. But there's too much sugar in it, so I prefer oatmeal porridge <3
11. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? When my shoes are new, yes. So I untie my new boots, but I untie my sneakers when I put them on, heh.
12. Do you think you’re a strong person? Mentally: tough question because sometimes I feel strong, sometimes I feel weak, but usually I just feel.. idk.. grounded? Physically: I have potential for physical strength I guess haha.
13. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Liquorice!! But it's pretty much impossible to find in ice-cream bars... I also like hazelnut, coconut, speculaas and cinnamon.
14. What is the first thing you notice about people? Not sure? Looking for a new room I met quite a few new people and thinking back I think.. height? Eyes? Whatever stands out about them I guess. There was this girl with the longest and lightest eyelashes I've ever seen. And a guy who was so huge, especially compared to his boyfriend, who was smaller than me like. There was no way I could notice anything else.
15. Red or pink? Red used to be my favourite colour and I hated pink, but I started liking pink more and more and feeling a bit meh about red.
16. What is the least favorite physical thing you like about yourself?Boobs I guess? I don't like the shape and size. They're average, but I envy people with tiny boobs who can properly put them away whenever.
17. What color pants and shoes are you wearing right now? Light blue jeans and ocre boots.
18. What was the last thing you ate? Oatmeal porridge.
19. What are your listening to right now? A literature lecture I should listen more closely to. My teacher is talking about Mary Shelly now. (it's ok, I'm recording it)

28. Scary movies or comedy? Neither? I have friends who love horror, so only watch stuff like that when they request it. It's kinda fun to see other people get scared. I mean I like silly creepy movies though. Stuff like Corpse Bride. And sometimes I have romantic comedy moods..

30. What color shirt are you wearing? A brown and black striped pullover and a dark grey t-shirt underneath.
31. Summer or winter? Sssummer!!! Especially now that I'm getting more and more comfortable in my skin.. :)
32. Hugs or kisses? Hugs are the best thing. Sometimes I don't feel comfortable hugging someone, but when I do it's the best thing. My best friend hates hugging and that's a bit sad. Then again, it's extra nice when she's like "oh alright, it's a special day for you, here: have a hug"
33. What book are you currently reading? I'm reading JoJo (if that counts), but I have two novels and a poetry book to read for school this semester. I ordered the novels yesterday and I'm kind of excited to start reading Specht en Zoon (Woodpecker and Son) by Willem Jan Otten. Not so much about the poetry because I'm not so good with that.. So I'm going to start reading that first. Today. It's called Liefdesverklaringen (Love Declarations) by Leonard Nolens
34. Who do you miss right now? My dog... Especially now that he's getting older. I'm just afraid I'm missing his last year(s) :'(

I think it's a name my dad had previously used in a story he'd written at some point.

Rewatching TNG 'The Inner Light' a couple weeks back I think. It usually gets me.

When I take care with it, yes. When I don't there are times I can't even make out what I'd meant to say.

Whatever strikes the right balance between flavor, price/value, and not having inedible fatty-gristly bits strung through.

Kinda depends on who I was as this 'other person' and whether or not we'd get along/have anything in common, really. Opens a whole big can o' philosophical/existential worms, that one. How much 'me' would I still be if I wasn't me?

I'm totally not up to speed on what Crayola is naming their colors these days, but. I'd be like an eggplant shade, something dark and reserved, subtle and sophisticated, unflashy but highly prized by those who care to look past the brighter more attention-grabbing colors in the front of the box.
21. Favorite smell?
Sea spray and salty air, the creosote smell of docks and pilings. Citrus blossoms on a warm spring wind. That sagebrush-sweet smell of rain in the desert. BPAL's Sea of Glass, which starts out sharply floral-citrus and ends as faintly-floral sea-salt.
22. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
The husband.
23. Favorite sport to watch?
I don't watch any sports as a matter of course, but if someone were to require that I start? I'd probably pick figure skating.
24. Hair color?
Dark brunette, chestnut-y highlights. Liberal greys all throughout and shaping up to maybe become a respectable witch's streak.
25. Eye color?
My IDs all say green for simplicity's sake, but they like to pick up grey tones depending on wardrobe sometimes.
26. Do you wear contacts?
None of the minor inconveniences of glasses are enough to make me stick things to my actual eyeballs as an alternative. Especially not when I like what the glasses do for my face.

Cheese. Pasta. Cheesy-saucy pasta dishes. Steamed Broccoli.

...Comedy, I suppose, but like...not the dudebro shit that's so prevalently marketed as 'comedy'.
