Ok so why do you love Nikki freeman so much like what does she…mean to you!

(so sorry for the late response!) in a weird way i felt really connected to nikki before i even watched the film. it’s been on my radar for a long time and i got the chance to see an early screening in jan of this year so i’ve been obsessed (no pun intended) with her character since then. i think the biggest reason i connected with her is the same reason i connect with characters like laura palmer/abigail hobbs/amanda young because i share a similar trauma with all of them. i especially found myself relating to wish!nikki because i spent a pretty big chunk of my life in an abusive relationship while i was unmedicated for my schizophrenia. i also love nikki’s personal style and even though we don’t get to see much of her life pre-wish i immediately had a million headcanons after watching the film the first time because inde’s performance is so incredible and i was so moved by everything she did throughout the film.
