They have video tutorials on their website and also a big helpful tutorial of the features!
The best way I learned though was working on LTW. I actually started on that project because I wanted to learn more about TVPaint’s features. If I hit a technical stumbling block or cant find something I need for the shot, I’d just Google it. Usually I get redirected to their forums. ^u^ It’s a slow going process, but the excitement of finding these features that will improve the speed and quality of the animation is always A+
Yo trying to fiddle around with TVpaint, how do you get ur sick brushes?
Easy!
1. Draw the shape of your brush
2. Select it
3. On the left side there should be selection options. Click Copy/Cut to Brush
4. This menu should pop up
5. Play around with the settings.
6. Go crazy til you get what you want!
7. If you want to save your new brush, go on your brush menu, and right click, Grab Current Tool/with colors!

i was wondering if you ever posted any figure drawings you've drawn before? not that saying that "every artist needs to know figuring drawing to be good at drawing" i was just curious on how it would look in your style since its so nice and clean c:
There are spatterings here and there in my Sketch tag if you scrounge, but 95% of the figure drawings I do aren’t posted here! And I actually never save most of them XuX I like open up a blank canvas and draw a few figures from pixelovely or google search, then close it and get to work.
Maybe I’ll post one of my figure drawing sessions later?
