Yesterday I became mother of this beautiful baby plant and I’m happy as a clam! I went unpretentiously to a plant store near my house with my mom and saw this plant and immediately I remembered my late grandmother who used to have a lot of this kind of plant and I could watch her and my aunt taking care of them, granny really loved her plants. I was actually looking for daisies, but they die very quickly and when I saw this Antúrio (her name in Portuguese) I couldn’t not take her home. Luckily I met a very kind woman who explained the plants there for me, she was really gentle to us. It might sound appealing (don’t think it’s the right word here), but I believe that woman was sent from heaven to be there with me; she said: it’s good to have a plant, you can talk to them, they can heal you, it’s good to your mind.

I feel really lucky and thankful that now I have something to take care of and to be responsible for. Welcome to my life, Turizinha. 🌺✨

PS.: in English she’s known as painter’s palette and flamingo flower, I couldn’t believe she was meant to be mine!
