not entirely sure, it’s definitely possible! they seemed to get the first couple of patches out pretty quickly so fingers crossed... also saw this happened to you as well (and same villager) i’m sorry :(

Locust: What was your favorite book as a child?You should know this one. Harry Potter! (’: I did also read a lot of Junie B. Jones and Series of Unfortunate Events and had a huge collection of those little golden books and was into pretending to read LoTR but getting caught up in the really fancy language and just watching the movies (I finally actually read them when I was like 14 though)
Heliconia: Do you like when it rains?I love the rain! But not when I have to go somewhere important because my only modes of transportation are walking/taking the bus so sometimes rain is a real downer. But MOSTLY I love it.
Azalea: What's a movie you cried while watching?More recently, I cried while watching The Princess Diaries 2, but we don’t need to talk about it.

yep, if you invite a villager from another town or campsite, it will override the random move in as long as they haven’t already set up a plot!

we used to keep chickens when i was little and i don’t think we did anything special in winter, they just stayed in their coop/chicken run!

Also the people who's daughter used to babysit me raise chickens and they live out in the middle of Manitoba nowhere where it gets colder than -40 but idk maybe they do kill them by the time winter comes but I do not want to kill my pretend chickens
