in other news ANTBITE HAS A DAUGHTER NOW. and ultimately i decided not to name her after lionsong--not only because she's just. not really lion colored. but also because i think as the child of two very prominent and successful cats (Crowflame and Blizzardfang), Antbite would understand the whole 'trying to live up to someone's name' thing and would want to keep those expectations off his new child. who knows, maybe when she's older she'll choose the name Honeysong. wink

This is Antbite (sharp, brown) and Shellsong (soft, tortoiseshell).

Antbite is the quiet, sarcastic, and maybe a teeny bit mean WindClan medicine cat. Shellsong is a diplomatic, responsible, and sweet as can be RiverClan warrior. And they’re in love. And there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

Of course, they try to be secretive about it. Antbite gets away with it for a bit but Shellheart, well, he’s not good at keeping secrets. However, even though the affair soon becomes common knowledge within the clans, not much drama comes from it. For one thing, RiverClan and WindClan are on good terms at the time and don’t want to jeopardize that peace. WindClan also can’t risk losing their only medicine cat, who refuses to take on an apprentice, which most cats theorize is simply his form of blackmail (though he would eventually take his niece, Hazelpaw, under his wing). Shellheart, well, look at that face. No one wants to see him upset. The two do have kits, and while that causes some tension, it’s settled pretty quickly. The kittens stay in RiverClan, with Antbite allowed to visit, with supervision obviously. 

They have three little kittens; Cherrykit, Pikekit, and Dewkit. Antbite also has a twin sister, Houndstrike, who’s own little family (consisting of her gf Honeyheart and their aforementioned daughter Hazelpaw) is pretty prominent in the kits’ lives.
