Just for a moment, Honeysong spots a ghost at the edge of camp.

Quite literally teared up at this scene and also almost cried when Honeysong retired, which happened while I was still working on this. I hope she doesn’t die before this gets posted since it’s on a queue

What are the beauty standards in this world and who is the prettiest in the cults eyes

Some traits that are generally seen "desirable" in the cult:

Brown fur (is seen as being more connected to the nature and thus, The Keeper)

Colourpoint markings (seen as a blessing from the god because it reminds the cats of the form The Keeper takes when revealing itself.)

Green eyes (The same reasoning as the first one)

No white markings

No scars

Short, neat fur

Sleek and slender build

Duskhunter is generally considered one of the prettiest cats in the cult. Or was, during his younger years at least.

Now that he is old and shabby his grandson Honeysong has surpassed him as the prettiest kitty in the forest.

Chapter 11: Rose Bushes

I’ve been very excited for this chapter! If you’ve seen Foggy’s reference or Toyhouse page, you probably have an idea of where this is going, it’s not like I’ve been trying to hide it. I’m very excited for what’s to come!

I had a lot of fun with the backgrounds for this chapter, but I feel like I draw them in a different style every time. I try to keep backgrounds consistent between chapters (and within them) but it’s so different. It’s partly because I keep improving with each chapter that I draw, but I also just keep switching between different methods without even realizing it, lol. Hopefully I’ll be able to make them more consistent as I keep going.
