Three years ago, I went to my first Anthony Rapp concert at 54 Below. I realized after meeting him (AGAIN), that he’s not only an amazing performer but an incredible person as well. I’ve never met a performer who LITERALLY puts their heart and soul into everything they do. I miss this dude and hope I can see/meet him again SOONER RATHER THAN LATER!!!

Anthony Rapp: Unplugged Concert Review 1/28/18 - 9:30 Show

I saw Anthony in concert again at 54 Below for the THIRD time last night and I swear he gets better every time I see him!! His unplugged show was similar to the one he did in September 2015 with a few changes.

HIGHLIGHTS

Before the show started, my sister told me to turn around and Anthony was literally standing in the doorway right behind my seat bc thats where he entered from and HE LOOKED AT ME AND I DIED DKGHSJKD.

I’m pretty sure he made eye contact with me several times throughout the show but I could be imagining it

When he walked onstage he did this cute little strut, and did the same thing when he came out again for the encore #loser

Before he sang the stalker song he asked if anyone in the audience had ever been stalked.. HAH.

He sang the Stalker Song and I freaked the FUCK OUT because I’m used to being alone in my room watching him sing it on YouTube. NO ONE KNEW IT and I was probably the only one singing the words bc I’m an idiot but then I saw another girl singing it too so I didn’t feel so bad. I had a feeling he’d sing it then I’m like “NOPE he prob won’t” BUT HE DIIIID

Before Creep, he said “Some bands have hit songs that they never sing live, SO I SING IT” (he sounded like a baby when he said that)

HE SANG CREEEEEEEP. Hearing him sing that live.. I just have no words.

I always enjoy hearing him sing Origin of Love because he slays the SHIT out of it.

He talked about bwaycon a lot. He thanked people for going, then mentioned it again at the end. What a nice guy.

I love that he sang “Everybody Hurts.” I’ve never heard him sing it before and I love that song.

He did some weird dancing during a few songs

I don’t like him without glasses but in person he looked SO CUTE!!!

At the end, he thanked everyone for coming and said “SEE YOU ON STAR TREK” AND IT WAS SO FUCKING CUTE

I didn’t wait to meet him at the end because my sister had work the next day and I don’t think he came out until after the second show, oh well.

I’m forgetting things, as usual. I’m still on Anthony hangover. If I remember them I’ll add them here.
