I met, interviewed, and saw Anthony Rapp perform all in one day at BroadwayCon. I was gonna say, “If you told me this would happen I’d think you were nuts..” but I KNEW it would happen at some point. It was all about being in the right place at the right time. <3

It’s been a long, hard year and a half without live theater. Local outdoor performances and live streamed events were okay for awhile, but not satisfying me enough. When I found out Anthony Rapp was coming back to 54 Below, I hesitated at first, then bought tickets to see him AGAIN. I’ve seen him at 54 Below FOUR TIMES and every time I’ve gone there I only see him (and Adam was there once too!). I have been waiting for that FEELING of theater returning for a long time. The feeling that even though everything in this world is shitty, I can go to this sacred place where my favorite Broadway actor EVER is singing the most soothing songs to make me forget about my problems. Thank you ONCE AGAIN, Anthony, for easing my mind, putting on an incredible show, and allowing (masked) fans to catch up with you after!

Three years ago, I went to my first Anthony Rapp concert at 54 Below. I realized after meeting him (AGAIN), that he’s not only an amazing performer but an incredible person as well. I’ve never met a performer who LITERALLY puts their heart and soul into everything they do. I miss this dude and hope I can see/meet him again SOONER RATHER THAN LATER!!!
